2023-05-08ASoC: Switch i2c drivers back to use .probe()Uwe Kleine-König1-1/+1
After commit b8a1a4cd5a98 ("i2c: Provide a temporary .probe_new() call-back type"), all drivers being converted to .probe_new() and then 03c835f498b5 ("i2c: Switch .probe() to not take an id parameter") convert back to (the new) .probe() to be able to eventually drop .probe_new() from struct i2c_driver. 2022-09-29ASoC: mt6660: Fix PM disable depth imbalance in mt6660_i2c_probeZhang Qilong1-2/+6
The pm_runtime_enable will increase power disable depth. Thus a pairing decrement is needed on the error handling path to keep it balanced according to context. We fix it by moving pm_runtime_enable to the endding of mt6660_i2c_probe. 2022-08-16i2c: Make remove callback return voidUwe Kleine-König1-2/+1
The value returned by an i2c driver's remove function is mostly ignored. (Only an error message is printed if the value is non-zero that the error is ignored.) So change the prototype of the remove function to return no value. This way driver authors are not tempted to assume that passing an error to the upper layer is a good idea. All drivers are adapted accordingly. There is no intended change of behaviour, all callbacks were prepared to return 0 before. 2022-05-09ASoC: mt6660: Add endianness flag in snd_soc_component_driverCharles Keepax1-0/+1
The endianness flag is used on the CODEC side to specify an ambivalence to endian, typically because it is lost over the hardware link. This device receives audio over an I2S DAI and as such should have endianness applied.
