2023-09-25ASoC: atmel: convert not to use asoc_xxx()Kuninori Morimoto1-1/+1
ASoC is now unified asoc_xxx() into snd_soc_xxx(). This patch convert asoc_xxx() to snd_soc_xxx(). Signed-off-by: Kuninori Morimoto <kuninori.morimoto.gx@renesas.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/87r0n4qniq.wl-kuninori.morimoto.gx@renesas.com Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2023-03-20ASoC: atmel: sam9x5_wm8731: Convert to platform remove callback returning voidUwe Kleine-König1-4/+2
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is (mostly) ignored and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove callback to the void returning variant. 2022-03-16ASoC: atmel: Fix error handling in sam9x5_wm8731_driver_probeMiaoqian Lin1-6/+7
The device_node pointer is returned by of_parse_phandle() with refcount incremented. We should use of_node_put() on it when done. This function only calls of_node_put() in the regular path. And it will cause refcount leak in error path. 2019-06-28ASoC: atmel: sam9x5_wm8731: consider CPU-Platform possibilityKuninori Morimoto1-1/+4
commit ced5b08020cd ("ASoC: atmel: sam9x5_wm8731: don't select unnecessary Platform") Current ALSA SoC avoid to add duplicate component to rtd, and this driver was selecting CPU component as Platform component. Thus, above patch removed Platform settings from this driver, because it assumed these are same component. But, some CPU driver is using generic DMAEngine, in such case, both CPU component and Platform component will have same of_node/name. In other words, there are some components which are different but have same of_node/name. In such case, Card driver definitely need to select Platform even though it is same as CPU. It is depends on CPU driver, but is difficult to know it from Card driver. This patch reverts above patch.
