2021-08-09ALSA: pci: cs46xx: Fix set up buffer type properlyTakashi Iwai1-22/+8
CS46xx driver switches the buffer depending on the number of periods, and in some cases it switches to the own buffer without updating the buffer type properly. This may cause a problem with the mmap on exotic architectures that require the own mmap call for the coherent DMA buffer. This patch addresses the potential breakage by replacing the buffer setup with the proper macro. It also simplifies the source code, too. This patch converts the resource management in PCI cs46xx driver with devres as a clean up. Each manual resource management is converted with the corresponding devres helper, and the card object release is managed now via card->private_free instead of a lowlevel snd_device. The kmalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, kmalloc_array(). This patch replaces cases of: kmalloc(a * b, gfp) with: kmalloc_array(a * b, gfp) as well as handling cases of: kmalloc(a * b * c, gfp) with: kmalloc(array3_size(a, b, c), gfp) as it's slightly less ugly than: kmalloc_array(array_size(a, b), c, gfp) This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like: kmalloc(4 * 1024, gfp) though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion. Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were dropped, since they're redundant. The tools/ directory was manually excluded, since it has its own implementation of kmalloc(). snd_cs46xx_suspend() is missing snd_pcm_suspend_all calls for pcm_rear, pcm_center_lfe and pcm_iec958. There's also a copy/paste bug in snd_cs46xx_pcm_iec958(), overwriting pcm_rear in struct snd_cs46xx, leaving pcm_iec958 unused. Fix all this to allow all channels to survive suspend/resume.
