Support for the new Kaanapali mobile platform is added to last-level cache controller, pd-mapper, and UBWC drivers. UBWC driver gains support for the Monaco and Glymur platforms. The PMIC GLINK driver is extended to handle the differences found in targets where the related firmware runs on the SoCCP. Support for running on targets without initialized SMEM is provided, by reworking the SMEM driver to differentiate between "not yet probed" and "probed but there was no SMEM". An unwanted WARN_ON() that triggered if clients asked for a SMEM item beyond the currently running system's limit, was removed, to allow new use cases to gracefully fail on old targets. The Qualcomm socinfo driver is extended with support for version 20 through 23 and support for providing version information about more than 32 remote processors. Identifiers for QCS6490 and SM8850 are also added. 2025-11-06soc: qcom: socinfo: Add reserve field to support future extensionMukesh Ojha1-0/+2
Some of the new field added to socinfo structure with version 21, 22 and 23 which is only used by boot firmware and it is of no use for Linux.Add reserve field in socinfo so that the structure remain updated and prepared if we get any new field in future which could be used by Linux. While at it, also updates switch case for backward compatibility if the SoC runs with boot firmware which has these new version added. 2025-11-06soc: qcom: socinfo: Add support for new fields in revision 20Mukesh Ojha1-0/+2
Add support for socinfo version 20. Version 20 adds a new field package id and its zeroth bit contain information that can be can be used to tune temperature thresholds on devices which might be able to withstand higher temperatures. Zeroth bit value 1 means that its heat dissipation is better and more relaxed thermal scheme can be put in place and 0 means a more aggressive scheme may be needed. 2025-09-27net: airoha: npu: Add a NPU callback to initialize flow statsLorenzo Bianconi1-3/+4
Introduce a NPU callback to initialize flow stats and remove NPU stats initialization from airoha_npu_get routine. Add num_stats_entries to airoha_npu_ppe_stats_setup routine. This patch makes the code more readable since NPU statistic are now initialized on demand by the NPU consumer (at the moment NPU statistic are configured just by the airoha_eth driver). Moreover this patch allows the NPU consumer (PPE module) to explicitly enable/disable NPU flow stats. 2025-09-17soc: qcom: geni-se: Add support to load QUP SE Firmware via Linux subsystemViken Dadhaniya1-0/+4
In Qualcomm SoCs, firmware loading for Serial Engines (SE) within the QUP hardware has traditionally been managed by TrustZone (TZ). This restriction poses a significant challenge for developers, as it limits their ability to enable various protocols on any of the SEs from the Linux side, reducing flexibility. Load the firmware to QUP SE based on the 'firmware-name' property specified in devicetree at bootup time. 2025-07-05drm/msm: Use the central UBWC config databaseKonrad Dybcio1-1/+1
As discussed a lot in the past, the UBWC config must be coherent across a number of IP blocks (currently display and GPU, but it also may/will concern camera/video as the drivers evolve). So far, we've been trying to keep the values reasonable in each of the two drivers separately, but it really make sense to do so centrally, especially given certain fields (e.g. HBB) may need to be gathered dynamically. To reduce room for error, move to fetching the config from a central source, so that the data programmed into the hardware is consistent across all multimedia blocks that request it. Number of RVU PFs on CN20K silicon have increased to 96 from maximum of 32 that were supported on earlier silicons. Every RVU PF and VF is identified by HW using a 16bit PF_FUNC value. Due to the change in Max number of PFs in CN20K, the bit encoding of this PF_FUNC has changed. This patch handles the change by using helper functions(using silicon check) to use PF,VF masks and shifts to support both new silicon CN20K, OcteonTx series. These helper functions are used in different modules. Also moved the NIX AF register offset macros to other files which will be posted in coming patches. 2025-05-14phy: exynos5-usbdrd: support Exynos USBDRD 3.2 4nm controllerIvaylo Ivanov1-0/+3
Add support for the Exynos USB 3.2 DRD 4nm controller. It's used in recent 4nm SoCs like Exynos2200 and Exynos2400. This device consists of 3 underlying and independent phys: SEC link control phy, Synopsys eUSB 2.0 and Synopsys USBDP/SS combophy. Unlike older device designs, where the internal phy blocks were all IP of Samsung, Synopsys phys are present. This means that the link controller is now mapped differently to account for missing bits and registers. The Synopsys phys also have separate register bases. As there are non-SEC PHYs present now, it doesn't make much sense to implement them in this driver. They are expected to be configured by external drivers, so pass phandles to them. USBDRD3.2 link controller set up is still required beforehand. This commit adds the necessary changes for USB HS to work. USB SS and DisplayPort are out of scope in this commit and will be introduced in the future. 2025-05-13soc: samsung: exynos-pmu: enable CPU hotplug support for gs101Peter Griffin1-0/+11
Some additional register writes are required when hotplugging CPUs on gs101, without these the system hangs when hotplugging. Specifically a CPU_INFORM register needs to be programmed with a hint value which is used by the EL3 firmware (el3mon) and the pmu-intr-gen registers need to be programmed. With this patch applied, and corresponding DT update CPU hotplug now works as expected. e.g. echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu6/online echo 1 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu6/online Note: to maintain compatibility with older DTs that didn't specify pmu-intr-gen phandle only a warning is issued if the syscon can't be obtained. Implement support for Exynos7870 USB DRD on top of the existing exynos5-usbdrd driver. Exynos7870 has a single USB 2.0 DRD PHY controller and no 3.0 PHYs. Thus, it only supports the UTMI interface. Moreover, the PMU register offset for enabling the PHY controller is different for SoCs such as Exynos7870, where BIT(0) is for the 3.0 PHY and BIT(1) is for the 2.0 PHY. The phy_isol function for Exynos7870 uses the appropriate register offsets.
