2008-10-10parisc: move include/asm-parisc to arch/parisc/include/asmKyle McMartin1-293/+0
2007-10-18[PARISC] parisc: "extern inline" -> "static inline"Adrian Bunk1-1/+1
"extern inline" will have different semantics with gcc 4.3, and "static inline" is correct here. Signed-off-by: Adrian Bunk <bunk@stusta.de> Cc: Matthew Wilcox <willy@debian.org> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: Kyle McMartin <kyle@mcmartin.ca>
2007-10-17Remove dma_cache_(wback|inv|wback_inv) functionsRalf Baechle1-5/+0
dma_cache_(wback|inv|wback_inv) were the earliest attempt on a generalized cache managment API for I/O purposes. Originally it was basically the raw MIPS low level cache API exported to the entire world. The API has suffered from a lack of documentation, was not very widely used unlike it's more modern brothers and can easily be replaced by dma_cache_sync. So remove it rsp. turn the surviving bits back into an arch private API, as discussed on linux-arch. 2007-08-27[PARISC] Add dummy isa_(bus|virt)_to_(virt|bus) inlinesKyle McMartin1-0/+10
Less painful than fixing up the Kconfig for a pile of drivers to only build on X86 && ARM && MIPS... Just make them BUG(), as defining them to be 1:1 with physical memory will likely HPMC the box anyways. Signed-off-by: Kyle McMartin <kyle@parisc-linux.org>

2007-02-17[PARISC] convert to use CONFIG_64BIT instead of __LP64__Helge Deller1-2/+2
Signed-off-by: Helge Deller <deller@gmx.de> Signed-off-by: Kyle McMartin <kyle@parisc-linux.org>
2007-02-09[PATCH] kill eth_io_copy_and_sum()Al Viro1-9/+0
On all targets that sucker boils down to memcpy_fromio(sbk->data, from, len). The function name is highly misguiding (it _never_ does any checksums), the last argument is just a noise and simply expanding the call to memcpy_fromio() gives shorter and more readable source. For a lot of reasons it has almost no remaining users, so it's better to just outright kill it. 2006-10-04[PARISC] Fix iounmap compile warningMatthew Wilcox1-1/+1
iounmap's argument needs to be both const and volatile, otherwise we'll get warnings that we're discarding pointer qualifiers Signed-off-by: Matthew Wilcox <matthew@wil.cx> Signed-off-by: Kyle McMartin <kyle@parisc-linux.org>
2006-04-26Don't include linux/config.h from anywhere else in include/David Woodhouse1-1/+0

2006-04-22[PARISC] Make ioremap default to _nocacheKyle McMartin1-12/+5
Since it is way more work to change most drivers to comply with parisc, take the easy way out and make ioremap _NO_CACHE by default. This is in line with what powerpc does. Signed-off-by: Kyle McMartin <kyle@parisc-linux.org>
2006-03-30[PARISC] Remove obsolete CONFIG_DEBUG_IOREMAPHelge Deller1-33/+0
Remove CONFIG_DEBUG_IOREMAP, it's now obsolete and won't work anyway. Remove it from lib/KConfig since it was only available on parisc. Signed-off-by: Helge Deller <deller@parisc-linux.org> Signed-off-by: Kyle McMartin <kyle@parisc-linux.org>
2006-03-30[PARISC] Enable ioremap functionality unconditionallyHelge Deller1-57/+1
Enable CONFIG_HPPA_IOREMAP by default and remove all now unnecessary code. Signed-off-by: Helge Deller <deller@parisc-linux.org> Signed-off-by: Kyle McMartin <kyle@parisc-linux.org>
2006-03-30[PARISC] Add CONFIG_HPPA_IOREMAP to conditionally enable ioremapHelge Deller1-11/+5
Instead of making it a #define in asm/io.h, allow user to select to turn on IOREMAP from the config menu. Signed-off-by: Helge Deller <deller@parisc-linux.org> Signed-off-by: Kyle McMartin <kyle@parisc-linux.org>
2006-03-24[PATCH] remove ISA legacy functions: remove the helpersAl Viro1-18/+0
unused isa_...() helpers removed. Adrian Bunk: The asm-sh part was rediffed due to unrelated changes. Signed-off-by: Al Viro <viro@zeniv.linux.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Adrian Bunk <bunk@stusta.de> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2006-01-11[PARISC] Add __iomem to __raw_check_addr()Alexey Dobriyan1-1/+1
Add __iomem to __raw_check_addr(), which nukes ~13809 sparse warnings on allmodconfig. Signed-off-by: Alexey Dobriyan <adobriyan@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Matthew Wilcox <matthew@wil.cx> Signed-off-by: Kyle McMartin <kyle@parisc-linux.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
