2008-11-14CRED: Wrap task credential accesses in the CIFS filesystemDavid Howells1-1/+1
Wrap access to task credentials so that they can be separated more easily from the task_struct during the introduction of COW creds. Change most current->(|e|s|fs)[ug]id to current_(|e|s|fs)[ug]id(). Change some task->e?[ug]id to task_e?[ug]id(). In some places it makes more sense to use RCU directly rather than a convenient wrapper; these will be addressed by later patches. cifs_ioctl doesn't seem to need the BKL for anything, so convert it over to use unlocked_ioctl. Signed-off-by: Andi Kleen <andi@firstfloor.org> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: Steve French <sfrench@us.ibm.com>

Various coding style problems found by running fs/cifs against the new checkpatch.pl script. Since there were too many to fit in one patch. Updated the first four files. Signed-off-by: Steve French <sfrench@us.ibm.com>
2006-09-30[PATCH] BLOCK: Move common FS-specific ioctls to linux/fs.h [try #6]David Howells1-4/+3
Move common FS-specific ioctls from linux/ext2_fs.h to linux/fs.h as FS_IOC_* and FS_IOC32_* and have the users of them use those as a base. Also move the GETFLAGS/SETFLAGS flags to linux/fs.h as FS_*_FL macros, and then have the other users use them as a base. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
