commit c63d2225e7be ("usb: gadget: pxa25x_udc: use devm_ functions")
introduced the use of devm_gpio_request in this driver, but did not
correctly include the header file declaring this function, which
causes a build failure.
This changes pxa25x_udc to include linux/gpio.h instead of asm/gpio.h
to fix this.

This patch introduces the use of devm_request_irq, devm_gpio_request,
devm_clk_get etc. instead of the corresponding unmanaged interfaces. The
calls to the functions like free_irq to free the allocated resources are
removed as they are no longer required. Some labels in the probe function
are also done away with and the name of the label err_gpio_pullup is
changed to make it less specific to the context.

None of these files are actually using any __init type directives
and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a
left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to
code getting copied from one driver to the next.

This patch adds "maxpacket_limit" to struct usb_ep. This field contains
maximum value of maxpacket supported by driver, and is set in driver probe.
This value should be used by autoconfig() function, because value of field
"maxpacket" is set to value from endpoint descriptor when endpoint becomes
enabled. So when autoconfig() function will be called again for this endpoint,
"maxpacket" value will contain wMaxPacketSize from descriptior instead of
maximum packet size for this endpoint.
For this reason this patch adds new field "maxpacket_limit" which contains
value of maximum packet size (which defines maximum endpoint capabilities).
This value is used in ep_matches() function used by autoconfig().
Value of "maxpacket_limit" should be set in UDC driver probe function, using
usb_ep_set_maxpacket_limit() function, defined in gadget.h. This function
set choosen value to both "maxpacket_limit" and "maxpacket" fields.
This patch modifies UDC drivers by adding support for maxpacket_limit.

we removed the implicit inclusion of <mach/gpio.h>
from <linux/gpio.h>.
The pxa25x_udc was not using that, but it was relying
on <linux/gpio.h> to implictly include <mach/gpio.h>
which in turn implicitly included <mach/hardware.h>,
which was needed for the driver to compile.
Fix this up by explicitly including the necessary
<mach/hardware.h> header.

Move probe out of __init section and don't use platform_driver_probe
which cannot be used with deferred probing.
Since commit e9354576 ("gpiolib: Defer failed gpio requests by default")
this driver might return -EPROBE_DEFER if a gpio_request fails.

when commit 6166c24 (usb: gadget: pxa25x_udc:
convert to udc_start/udc_stop) converted
this driver to udc_start/udc_stop, it failed
to consider the fact that stop_activity()
is called from disconnect interrupt.
Fix the problem so that gadget drivers know
about proper disconnect sequences.

Whenever ->udc_start() gets called, gadget driver
has already being bound to the udc controller, which
means that gadget->dev had to be already initialized
and added to driver model.
This patch fixes pxa25x mistake.

This patch removes the global variable composite in composite.c.
The private data which was saved there is now passed via an additional
argument to the bind() function in struct usb_gadget_driver.
Only the "old-style" UDC drivers have to be touched here, new style are
doing it right because this change is made in udc-core.

With the changes in the random tree, IRQF_SAMPLE_RANDOM is now a
no-op; interrupt randomness is now collected unconditionally in a very
low-overhead fashion; see commit 775f4b297b. The IRQF_SAMPLE_RANDOM
flag was scheduled to be removed in 2009 on the
feature-removal-schedule, so this patch is preparation for the final
removal of this flag.

We are starting to support multiple USB phys as
we should thanks for Kishon's work. DeviceTree support
for USB PHYs won't come until discussion with DeviceTree
maintainer is finished.
Together with that series, we have one fix for twl4030
which missed a IRQF_ONESHOT annotation when requesting
a threaded IRQ without a top half handler, and removal
of an unused variable compilation warning to isp1301_omap.

usb_get_phy will return -ENODEV if it's not able to find the phy. Hence
fixed all the callers of usb_get_phy to check for this error condition
instead of relying on a non-zero value as success condition.

Add a linked list for keeping multiple PHY instances with different
types so that we can have separate USB2 and USB3 PHYs on one single
board. _get_phy_ has been changed so that the controller gets
the transceiver by type. _remove_phy_ has been added to let the phy
be removed from the phy list.

_transceiver() in otg.c is replaced with _phy. usb_set_transceiver is

This merge is rather big. Here's what it contains:
For am5536udc we have just simple coding style fixes. Nothing that has any
potential to cause any issues going forward.
With mv_udc, there's only one single change removing an unneeded NULL check.
at91_udc also only saw a single change this merge window, and that's only
removing a duplicated header.
The Renesas controller has a few more involved changes. Support for SUDMAC was
added, there's now a special handling of IRQ resources for when the IRQ line is
shared between Renesas controller and SUDMAC, we also had a bug fix where
Renesas controller would sleep in atomic context while doing DMA transfers from
a tasklet. There were also a set of minor cleanups.
The FSL UDC also had a scheduling in atomic context bug fix, but that's all.
Thanks to Sebastian, the dummy_hcd now works better than ever with support for
scatterlists and streams. Sebastian also added SuperSpeed descriptors to the
serial gadgets.
The highlight on this merge is the addition of a generic API for mapping and
unmapping usb_requests. This will avoid code duplication on all UDC controllers
and also kills all the defines for DMA_ADDR_INVALID which UDC controllers
sprinkled around. A few of the UDC controllers were already converted to use
this new API.

This changes the otg functions so that they receive struct
otg instead of struct usb_phy as parameter and
converts all users of these functions to pass the otg member
of their usb_phy.

This commit renames the “speed” field of the usb_gadget_driver
structure to “max_speed”. This is so that to make it more
apparent that the field represents the maximum speed gadget
driver can support.
This also make the field look more like fields with the same
name in usb_gadget and usb_composite_driver structures. All
of those represent the *maximal* speed given entity supports.
After this commit, there are the following fields in various
structures:
* usb_gadget::speed - the current connection speed,
* usb_gadget::max_speed - maximal speed UDC supports,
* usb_gadget_driver::max_speed - maximal speed gadget driver
supports, and
* usb_composite_driver::max_speed - maximal speed composite
gadget supports.

peripheral drivers are using usb_add_gadget()/usb_del_gadget() to
register/unregister to the udc-core.
The udc-core will take the first available gadget driver and attach
function driver which is calling usb_gadget_register_driver(). This is
the same behaviour we have right now.
Only dummy_hcd was tested, the others were compiled tested.

Commit e66eed651fd1 ("list: remove prefetching from regular list
iterators") removed the include of prefetch.h from list.h, which
uncovered several cases that had apparently relied on that rather
obscure header file dependency.
So this fixes things up a bit, using
grep -L linux/prefetch.h $(git grep -l '[^a-z_]prefetchw*(' -- '*.[ch]')
grep -L 'prefetchw*(' $(git grep -l 'linux/prefetch.h' -- '*.[ch]')
to guide us in finding files that either need <linux/prefetch.h>
inclusion, or have it despite not needing it.
There are more of them around (mostly network drivers), but this gets
many core ones.

Stop handling gpio-vbus internally. All boards that depended on this
functionality have been converted to use gpio-vbus tranceiver. All
new boards can use it right from the start. Drop unused code.

To accomplish this the function to register a gadget driver takes the bind
function as a second argument. To make things clearer rename the function
to resemble platform_driver_probe.
This fixes many section mismatches like
WARNING: drivers/usb/gadget/g_printer.o(.data+0xc): Section mismatch in
reference from the variable printer_driver to the function
.init.text:printer_bind()
The variable printer_driver references
the function __init printer_bind()
All callers are fixed.

This adds very basic otg_transceiver support, with vbus_session
and vbus_draw callbacks.
Now VBUS sensing can be handled by an external driver which registers
the otg_transceiver interface. It also allows gadget drivers to configure
the current drawn from VBUS. The UDC driver just passes their requests
along to the transceiver driver.

Some code in the pxa25x_udc driver wrongly expects the value
of is_vbus_present() to be 0/1, not zero/nonzero ... cope.
Issue noted by Jaya Kumar <jayakumar.lkml@gmail.com>
This bug has been around since July 2007, and has a simple
workaround: unplug the Linux gadget, then re-plug it.
