loop" This reverts commit 63e3ad3252695a2b8c01b6f6c225e4537af08b85, since this not works as expected and produce runtime error: BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context at drivers/tty/serial/clps711x.c:379 in_atomic(): 0, irqs_disabled(): 128, pid: 287, name: mount Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>

This patch adds cond_sched() calls during wait loop to perform other tasks. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2014-01-08serial: clps711x: Enable driver compilation with COMPILE_TESTAlexander Shiyan1-18/+22
This helps increasing build testing coverage. To do this, read{write}_relaxed() functions was be replaced with simple read{write}() variants. Potential "uninitialized variable" warnings was be fixed if driver compiled without MFD_SYSCON. 2014-01-08serial: clps711x: Add support for N_IRDA line disciplineAlexander Shiyan1-8/+12
This patch replace custom handling of IrDA feature with N_IRDA line discipline, so IrDA mode can be used with irtty driver. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-12-17serial: clps711x: Driver refactorAlexander Shiyan1-194/+254
This is a complex patch for refactoring CLPS711X serial driver. Major changes: - Eliminate <mach/hardware.h> usage. - Devicetree support. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-09-27serial: clps711x: drop needless devm_clk_putUwe Kleine-König1-2/+0
The nice thing about devm_* is that the driver doesn't need to free the resources but the driver core takes care about that. These calls were introduced in commit c08f015 (serial: clps711x: Using CPU clock subsystem for getting base UART speed). 2013-07-27serial: remove unnecessary platform_set_drvdata()Jingoo Han1-9/+2
The driver core clears the driver data to NULL after device_release or on probe failure, since commit 0998d0631001288a5974afc0b2a5f568bcdecb4d (device-core: Ensure drvdata = NULL when no driver is bound). Thus, it is not needed to manually clear the device driver data to NULL. 2013-01-16TTY: switch tty_flip_buffer_pushJiri Slaby1-7/+1
Now, we start converting tty buffer functions to actually use tty_port. This will allow us to get rid of the need of tty in many call sites. Only tty_port will needed and hence no more tty_port_tty_get in those paths. Now, the one where most of tty_port_tty_get gets removed: tty_flip_buffer_push. IOW we also closed all the races in drivers not using tty_port_tty_get at all yet. Also we move tty_flip_buffer_push declaration from include/linux/tty.h to include/linux/tty_flip.h to all others while we are changing it anyway. 2011-01-13tty: move drivers/serial/ to drivers/tty/serial/Greg Kroah-Hartman1-0/+579
The serial drivers are really just tty drivers, so move them to drivers/tty/ to make things a bit neater overall. This is part of the tty/serial driver movement proceedure as proposed by Arnd Bergmann and approved by everyone involved a number of months ago.
