2020-12-29scsi: bnx2i: Requires MMURandy Dunlap1-0/+1
[ Upstream commit 2d586494c4a001312650f0b919d534e429dd1e09 ] The SCSI_BNX2_ISCSI kconfig symbol selects CNIC and CNIC selects UIO, which depends on MMU. Since 'select' does not follow dependency chains, add the same MMU dependency to SCSI_BNX2_ISCSI. Quietens this kconfig warning: WARNING: unmet direct dependencies detected for CNIC Depends on [n]: NETDEVICES [=y] && ETHERNET [=y] && NET_VENDOR_BROADCOM [=y] && PCI [=y] && (IPV6 [=m] || IPV6 [=m]=n) && MMU [=n] Selected by [m]: - SCSI_BNX2_ISCSI [=m] && SCSI_LOWLEVEL [=y] && SCSI [=y] && NET [=y] && PCI [=y] && (IPV6 [=m] || IPV6 [=m]=n) Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20201129070916.3919-1-rdunlap@infradead.org Fixes: cf4e6363859d ("[SCSI] bnx2i: Add bnx2i iSCSI driver.") 2014-09-16bnx2i/bnx2fc : fix randconfig error in next-20140909Anish Bhatt1-0/+1
Just like CNIC, tristate of these two modules is also dependent on IPV6. These need to be handled separately as they select CNIC, which can override tristate for CNIC from 'm' to 'y', which can cause build failures when ipv6 is compiled as a module even if CNIC's Kconfig will only 'm' or 'n' when ipv6 is compiled as a module. 2014-07-26bnx2i: Rebranding bnx2i driverVikas Chaudhary1-2/+2
QLogic has acquired the NetXtremeII products and drivers from Broadcom. This patch re-brands bnx2i driver as a QLogic driver Signed-off-by: Vikas Chaudhary <vikas.chaudhary@qlogic.com> Acked-by: Eddie Wai <eddie.wai@broadcom.com> Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de>

2010-08-11scsi: fix bnx2i build errorsRandy Dunlap1-1/+2
bnx2i should depend on NET since it selects SCSI_ISCSI_ATTRS, which depends on NET. Also move the dependencies together. The "depends" change fixes multiple build errors when CONFIG_NET is not enabled: ERROR: "skb_trim" [drivers/scsi/scsi_transport_iscsi.ko] undefined! ERROR: "netlink_kernel_create" [drivers/scsi/scsi_transport_iscsi.ko] undefined! ERROR: "netlink_kernel_release" [drivers/scsi/scsi_transport_iscsi.ko] undefined! 2009-06-21cnic: add NETDEV_1000 and NETDEVICES to Kconfig selectRandy Dunlap1-0/+2
NETDEVICES + NETDEV_1000 need to be enabled so that kconfig will check those branches for selects and enforce "select UIO" under CNIC. Otherwise the build fails with: ERROR: "uio_unregister_device" [drivers/net/cnic.ko] undefined! ERROR: "uio_event_notify" [drivers/net/cnic.ko] undefined! ERROR: "__uio_register_device" [drivers/net/cnic.ko] undefined! 2009-06-15[SCSI] cnic, bnx2i: Fix build failure when CONFIG_PCI is not set.Michael Chan1-0/+1
CNIC and BNX2I must depend on PCI. Dependencies do not get propagated through select. Signed-off-by: Michael Chan <mchan@broadcom.com> Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@HansenPartnership.com>
2009-06-09[SCSI] bnx2i: Add bnx2i iSCSI driver.Michael Chan1-0/+7
New iSCSI driver for Broadcom BNX2 devices. The driver interfaces with the CNIC driver to access the hardware.
