2019-05-21treewide: Add SPDX license identifier for more missed filesThomas Gleixner1-0/+1
Add SPDX license identifiers to all files which: - Have no license information of any form - Have MODULE_LICENCE("GPL*") inside which was used in the initial scan/conversion to ignore the file These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. The resulting SPDX license identifier is: GPL-2.0-only Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2018-10-16scsi: esp_scsi: move dma mapping into the core codeChristoph Hellwig1-28/+0
Except for the mac_esp driver, which uses PIO or pseudo DMA, all drivers share the same dma mapping calls. Move the dma mapping into the core code using the scsi_dma_map / scsi_dma_unmap helpers, with a special identify mapping variant triggered off a new ESP_FLAG_NO_DMA_MAP flag for mac_esp. 2018-10-16scsi: esp_scsi: remove the dev argument to scsi_esp_registerChristoph Hellwig1-1/+1
We can simplify use esp->dev now. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Tested-by: Finn Thain <fthain@telegraphics.com.au> Signed-off-by: Martin K. Petersen <martin.petersen@oracle.com>
2018-10-16scsi: am53c974: use the generic DMA APIChristoph Hellwig1-17/+15
Remove usage of the legacy PCI DMA API. To make this easier we also store a struct device instead of pci_dev in the dev field of struct esp. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Tested-by: Finn Thain <fthain@telegraphics.com.au> Signed-off-by: Martin K. Petersen <martin.petersen@oracle.com>
2018-05-02scsi: am53c974: Use module_pci_driverYueHaibing1-12/+1
Remove boilerplate code by using macro module_pci_driver. Signed-off-by: YueHaibing <yuehaibing@huawei.com> Signed-off-by: Martin K. Petersen <martin.petersen@oracle.com>
2015-04-17am53c974: Fix crash during modprobeHannes Reinecke1-2/+4
On systems with shared interrupts the interrupt routine might be called as soon as the interrupt is enabled. As this might happen before pci_set_drvdata() is called the system would crash. 2015-02-05am53c974: remove left-over debugging codeHannes Reinecke1-6/+0
A shost_printk() statement was left over from debugging. It can safely be removed; the same information is displayed in the debugging message some lines further down. 2014-11-24tmscsim: replace by am53c974 driverHannes Reinecke1-0/+1
The am53c974 is a re-implementation of the tmscsim driver, and provides the same functionality. So remove the tmscsim driver and make am53c974 an alias to tmscsim. 2014-11-24esp_scsi: enable CONFIG2_FENAB for am53c974Hannes Reinecke1-0/+40
CONFIG2_FENAB ('feature enable') changed definition between chip revisions, from 'Latch SCSI Phase' to 'Latch SCSI Phase, display chip ID upon reset, and enable 24 bit addresses'. So only enable it for am53c974 where we know what it's doing. Acked-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net> Reviewed-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Hannes Reinecke <hare@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de>
2014-11-24esp_scsi: correctly detect am53c974Hannes Reinecke1-0/+2
The am53c974 returns the same ID as the FAS236, but implements things slightly differently. So detect the am53c974 by checking for ESP_CONFIG4 register. Reviewed-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Hannes Reinecke <hare@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de>
2014-11-24am53c974: BLAST residual handlingHannes Reinecke1-0/+6
The am53c974 has an design issue where a single byte might be left in the SCSI FIFO after a DMA transfer. As the handling code is currently untested add a WARN_ON() statement here. 2014-11-24am53c974: add new driverHannes Reinecke1-0/+537
This patch adds a new implementation for the Tekram DC-390T / AMD AM53c974 SCSI controller, based on the generic esp_scsi infrastructure. Reviewed-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Hannes Reinecke <hare@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de>
