2012-08-08s390/sclp_sdias: Add missing break and "fall through"Michael Holzheu1-0/+2
If the last block of the HSA is read, EVSTATE_ALL_STORED is returned by SCLP. Because of a missing break in the switch statement two trace entries are written in this case: "all stored" and "part stored". This patch adds the missing break and also adds a "fall through" comment to improve the readability. 2012-07-20s390/comments: unify copyright messages and remove file namesHeiko Carstens1-1/+1
Remove the file name from the comment at top of many files. In most cases the file name was wrong anyway, so it's rather pointless. Also unify the IBM copyright statement. We did have a lot of sightly different statements and wanted to change them one after another whenever a file gets touched. However that never happened. Instead people start to take the old/"wrong" statements to use as a template for new files. So unify all of them in one go. Signed-off-by: Heiko Carstens <heiko.carstens@de.ibm.com>
2012-05-24s390/headers: replace __s390x__ with CONFIG_64BIT where possibleHeiko Carstens1-1/+1
Replace __s390x__ with CONFIG_64BIT in all places that are not exported to userspace or guarded with #ifdef __KERNEL__. Signed-off-by: Heiko Carstens <heiko.carstens@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
2012-03-11[S390] zfcpdump: Implement async sdias event processingMichael Holzheu1-21/+80
There are two different ways to do the "store data in absolute storage" SCLP event processing, synchronous and asynchrounous. This patch adds the asynchronous variant. Signed-off-by: Michael Holzheu <holzheu@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>

2007-04-27[S390] zfcpdump support.Michael Holzheu1-0/+255
s390 machines provide hardware support for creating Linux dumps on SCSI disks. For creating a dump a special purpose dump Linux is used. The first 32 MB of memory are saved by the hardware before the dump Linux is booted. Via an SCLP interface, the saved memory can be accessed from Linux. This patch exports memory and registers of the crashed Linux to userspace via a debugfs file. For more information refer to Documentation/s390/zfcpdump.txt, which is included in this patch.
