2023-08-09regulator: mpq7920: Remove redundant of_match_ptr() macroChen Jiahao1-1/+1
Since the driver mpq7920 depends on CONFIG_OF, it makes no difference to wrap of_match_ptr() here. Remove the of_match_ptr() macro to clean it up. 2023-07-14regulator: Explicitly include correct DT includesRob Herring1-1/+0
The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus. As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they "temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to explicitly include the correct includes. 2023-05-08regulator: Switch i2c drivers back to use .probe()Uwe Kleine-König1-1/+1
After commit b8a1a4cd5a98 ("i2c: Provide a temporary .probe_new() call-back type"), all drivers being converted to .probe_new() and then 03c835f498b5 ("i2c: Switch .probe() to not take an id parameter") convert back to (the new) .probe() to be able to eventually drop .probe_new() from struct i2c_driver. 2023-03-20regulator: Set PROBE_PREFER_ASYNCHRONOUS for drivers between 5.4 and 5.10Douglas Anderson1-0/+1
This follows on the change ("regulator: Set PROBE_PREFER_ASYNCHRONOUS for drivers that existed in 4.14") but changes regulators didn't exist in Linux 5.4 but did exist in Linux 5.10. 2020-01-14regulator: mpq7920: Remove unneeded fields from struct mpq7920_regulator_infoAxel Lin1-28/+13
Both *dev and *rdev are only used in .probe, so use local variable instead. Also remove mpq7920_regulator_register() because it is so trivial and there is only one caller. 2020-01-13regulator: mpq7920: Check the correct variable in mpq7920_regulator_register()Dan Carpenter1-2/+2
There is a typo in the error checking. We should be checking "->rdev[i]" instead of just "->rdev".
