2025-02-11wifi: ath12k: Add peer extended Rx statistics debugfs supportKarthikeyan Periyasamy9-11/+497
Currently, peer extended Rx statistics are not supported. Therefore, expose peer extended Rx statistics support through debugfs, allowing users to enable or disable the collection of statistics information. After that the statistics information can be dumped through debugfs. Below are the debugfs commands exposed. 2025-02-11wifi: ath12k: Refactor the format of peer rate table informationBalamurugan Mahalingam2-21/+14
Currently, peer rate table information involves complex computation for the rate index to update the rate table. To simplify this process, avoid the rate index calculation by defining the rate table with bandwidth, GI, NSS, MCS. Therefore, update the rate information based on the bandwidth, GI, NSS and MCS information from the TLV data of monitor status Rx path. 2025-02-11wifi: ath12k: Add EHT MCS support in Extended Rx statisticsBalamurugan Mahalingam2-0/+8
Currently, EHT MCS information is not populated. Therefore, add the EHT MCS counter array to the peer rate statistics and update the EHT MCS statistics from the status TLV data in the monitor Rx path. 2025-02-11wifi: ath12k: fix the ampdu id fetch in the HAL_RX_MPDU_START TLVP Praneesh2-7/+12
Currently, ampdu id is update with peer id mask which is incorrect. Therefore, update the ampdu id with PPDU id mask value. Also move the ampdu_id field inside the user stats since it is a user id based statistics. 2025-02-11wifi: ath12k: Update the peer id in PPDU end user stats TLVKarthikeyan Periyasamy1-0/+3
Currently, peer id get reported in the PPDU end user TLV tag. But the monitor status handler is inherited from ath11k, but it was not updated to incorporate the changes made to ath12k 802.11be hardware architecture. Therefore, update the peer id from the PPDU end user TLV data to get latest peer id update, it helps to populate accurate peer information on the statistics data. This adds support for reporting to the kernel the average rssi. This is done the same way as it was done in ath11k. A simple ewma (with the same parameters) is updated with each rssi update. 2025-02-11wifi: iwlwifi: Fix A-MSDU TSO preparationIlan Peer3-12/+18
The TSO preparation assumed that the skb head contained the headers while the rest of the data was in the fragments. Since this is not always true, e.g., it is possible that the data was linearised, modify the TSO preparation to start the data processing after the network headers. 2025-02-11wifi: iwlwifi: limit printed string from FW fileJohannes Berg1-1/+1
There's no guarantee here that the file is always with a NUL-termination, so reading the string may read beyond the end of the TLV. If that's the last TLV in the file, it can perhaps even read beyond the end of the file buffer. Fix that by limiting the print format to the size of the buffer we have. 2025-02-11wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: don't dump the firmware state upon RFKILL while suspendEmmanuel Grumbach1-26/+51
This is not really a firmware error. We need to reload the firmware, but this doesn't mean that we should consider this as a firmware error. When the firmware was restarted upon resume, this wasn't felt by the driver. Now that we keep the firmware running during suspend even if we don't have wowlan, this started to pop-up. Set IWL_MVM_STATUS_ROC_P2P_RUNNING in the failure/stop path. If it started successfully before, it's already set, so that doesn't matter, and if it didn't start it needs to be set to clean up. Not doing so will lead to a WARN_ON() later on a fresh remain- on-channel, since the link is already active when activated as it was never deactivated. The firmware dumps can be pretty big, and since we use single pages for each SG table entry, even the table itself may end up being an order-5 allocation. Build chained tables so that we need not allocate a higher-order table here. This could be improved and cleaned up, e.g. by using the SG pool code or simply kvmalloc(), but all of that would require also updating the devcoredump first since that frees it all, so we need to be more careful. SG pool might also run against the CONFIG_ARCH_NO_SG_CHAIN limitation, which is irrelevant here. Also use _devcd_free_sgtable() for the error paths now, much simpler especially since it's in two places now. 2025-02-11wifi: iwlwifi: make no_160 more genericEmmanuel Grumbach5-112/+123
We'll have devices that are EHT capable but don't support 320 MHz and those devices look like the 320 MHz capable devices, but have distinct subsystem ID. We already had the same type of differentiation for HE devices that support 160 MHz or not. Enhance that mechanism and now the _IWL_DEV_INFO macro gets an indication whether the bandwidth should be limited for that specific device. The subsystem ID gives a binary answer about the bandwidth limitation and iwl_pci_find_dev_info() compares this to the list of _IWL_DEV_INFO entries. Re-probing if we had 2 firmware crash within 3 minutes is really too aggressive. Drastically reduce the threshold to 7 seconds. After 7 seconds, a new firmware crash will be considered "new" and not cause a PCI re-probe. This allows to pass tests that cause a firmware crash every 10 seconds and expect to see no impact on the traffic. During reprobe, the sw state is being destroyd, and so is the connection. When the peer STA is being removed, the opmode sends a command to flush the TXQs of the STA and uses iwl_trans_wait_txq_empty. This one warns if the FW is not alive, but it really shouldn't if there is a FW error - and return silently instead, just like we do when sending a hcmd. 2025-02-11wifi: qtnfmac: Avoid multiple -Wflex-array-member-not-at-end warningsGustavo A. R. Silva1-8/+13
-Wflex-array-member-not-at-end was introduced in GCC-14, and we are getting ready to enable it, globally. So, in order to avoid ending up with a flexible-array member in the middle of other structs, we use the `__struct_group()` helper to create a new tagged `struct qlink_tlv_hdr_fixed`. This structure groups together all the members of the flexible `struct qlink_tlv_hdr` except the flexible array. As a result, the array is effectively separated from the rest of the members without modifying the memory layout of the flexible structure. We then change the type of the middle struct member currently causing trouble from `struct qlink_tlv_hdr` to `struct qlink_tlv_hdr_fixed`. We also want to ensure that when new members need to be added to the flexible structure, they are always included within the newly created tagged struct. For this, we use `static_assert()`. This ensures that the memory layout for both the flexible structure and the new tagged struct is the same after any changes. This approach avoids having to implement `struct qlink_tlv_hdr_fixed` as a completely separate structure, thus preventing having to maintain two independent but basically identical structures, closing the door to potential bugs in the future.
