Station node entries should be guarded for whole of their reference instead of just while getting node entry from station list. It may happen that station node is retrieved may be deleted by deauthentication event while it is still in use. ACK status (0/1) for ACTION frames is informed to cfg80211. We will extend existing logic used for EAPOL frames. The cfg80211 API is different here. Also, we need to explicitly free cloned skb. 2014-03-14mwifiex: add AMSDU inside AMPDU supportAmitkumar Karwar1-21/+1
Currently AMPDU aggregation is preferred over AMSDU. AMSDU aggregation is performed only if AMPDU streams in firmware are full. This patch adds simultaneous AMSDU and AMPDU aggregation support. This mechanism helps to improve throughput. AMSDU is enabled only for 8897 chipsets which supports 4K transmit buffer. User can disable AMSDU using 'disable_tx_amsdu' module parameter. 2013-12-10mwifiex: fix an issue with Appletalk devicesAmitkumar Karwar1-2/+6
SNAP/LLC header in the AARP packet is being stripped off while preparing an EthernetII header. Annex M, Table M.3 in 802.11 spec says that some header (ex. AppleTalk AARP(2)) should pass through untouched. This patch modifies the check to exclude/include EthernetII header translation for special cases. 2013-07-24mwifiex: remove stop_net_dev_queue operation in AP forwardingHuawei Yang1-4/+0
Under uAP mode mwifiex may stop all net tx queues on forwarding packets. This may stop some tx queues and they never have chance to be waked up. There is also no need to check tx_pending and stop queues here. Because local host has such kind of check when transmitting packets and it's not proper to have forwarding affect local transmitting. 1. Separate file for uAP RX handling. 2. If received packet is broadcast/multicast, send it to kernel as well as requeue it back to uAP TX queue. 3. If received packet is for associated STA (intra-BSS), requeue it back to uAP TX queue. 4. In all other cases (packets for AP or inter-BSS packets), pass packet to kernel to handle it accordingly.
