2011-11-15iwlegacy: mark poll bit as unlocked functionStanislaw Gruszka1-1/+1
We do not take reg_lock during poll bit, so mark it such using underscore. Signed-off-by: Stanislaw Gruszka <sgruszka@redhat.com>
2011-11-15iwlegacy: rename il_{read,write}32 to _il_{rd,wr}Stanislaw Gruszka1-3/+3

2011-11-15iwlegacy: rename iwl to ilStanislaw Gruszka1-78/+78
iwl_legacy prefix result in long function names, what cause that we have frequent line split and not readable code. Also iwl_foo symbols are duplicated in iwlwifi driver, what is annoying when editing kernel tree with cscope. Signed-off-by: Stanislaw Gruszka <sgruszka@redhat.com>
2011-06-03iwlegacy: remove unreachable codeGreg Dietsche1-1/+0
return; at the end of the function is unecessary. Signed-off-by: Greg Dietsche <Gregory.Dietsche@cuw.edu> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
2011-04-13iwlegacy: fix tx_power initializationStanislaw Gruszka1-7/+0
priv->tx_power_next is not initialized to max supported power, but instead default value is used, what cause errors like [ 58.597834] iwl3945 0000:03:00.0: Requested user TXPOWER 15 above upper limit 14. [ 58.597839] iwl3945 0000:03:00.0: Error setting Tx power (-22). if maximum tx power read from the eeprom is smaller than default. In consequence card is unable to initialize properly. Fix the problem and cleanup tx power initialization. Reported-and-tested-by: Robin Dong <hao.bigrat@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Stanislaw Gruszka <sgruszka@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: John W. 2011-02-21iwlwifi: split the drivers for agn and legacy devices 3945/4965Wey-Yi Guy1-0/+561
Intel WiFi devices 3945 and 4965 now have their own driver in the folder drivers/net/wireless/iwlegacy Add support to build these drivers independently of the driver for AGN devices. Selecting the 3945 builds iwl3945.ko and iwl_legacy.ko, and selecting the 4965 builds iwl4965.ko and iwl_legacy.ko. iwl-legacy.ko contains code shared between both devices. The 3945 is an ABG/BG device, with no support for 802.11n. The 4965 is a 2x3 ABGN device.
