2015-08-07treewide: Fix typo compatability -> compatibilityLaurent Pinchart1-1/+1
Even though 'compatability' has a dedicated entry in the Wiktionary, it's listed as 'Mispelling of compatibility'. Fix it. Signed-off-by: Laurent Pinchart <laurent.pinchart@ideasonboard.com> Acked-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net> Acked-by: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter@ffwll.ch> for the atomic_helper.c Signed-off-by: Jiri Kosina <jkosina@suse.com>
2013-02-09ipw2x00: simplify scan_event handlingTejun Heo1-2/+1
* Drop unnesssary delayd_work_pending() tests. * Unify scan_event_{now|later} by using mod_delayed_work() w/ 0 delay for scan_event_now. * Make ipw2200 scan_event handling match ipw2100 - use mod_delayed_work() w/ 0 delay for immediate scanning. Only compile tested. Signed-off-by: Tejun Heo <tj@kernel.org> Acked-by: Stanislav Yakovlev <stas.yakovlev@gmail.com> Cc: linux-wireless@vger.kernel.org

2011-01-26wireless/ipw2x00: use system_wq instead of dedicated workqueuesTejun Heo1-1/+0
With cmwq, there's no reason to use separate workqueues in ipw2x00 drivers. Drop them and use system_wq instead. All used work items are sync canceled on driver detach. Signed-off-by: Tejun Heo <tj@kernel.org> Acked-by: "John W. Linville" <linville@tuxdriver.com> Cc: linux-wireless@vger.kernel.org

2009-08-28libipw: switch from ieee80211_* to libipw_* naming policyJohn W. Linville1-7/+7
This eliminates the dual definition of ieee80211_channel (and possibly others), further clarifying who defines what and paving the way for inclusion of cfg80211.h. Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
2009-02-27ipw2x00: age scan results on resumeDan Williams1-0/+4
Scanned BSS entries are timestamped with jiffies, which doesn't increment across suspend and hibernate. On resume, every BSS in the scan list looks like it was scanned within the last 10 seconds, irregardless of how long the machine was actually asleep. Age scan results on resume with the time spent during sleep so userspace has a clue how old they really are. Signed-off-by: Dan Williams <dcbw@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>
2009-02-27make net/ieee80211.h private to ipw2x00Dan Williams1-2/+2
