2018-08-03ath: Add regulatory mapping for BahamasSven Eckelmann1-0/+1
[ Upstream commit 699e2302c286a14afe7b7394151ce6c4e1790cc1 ] The country code is used by the ath to detect the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 name and to select the correct conformance test limits (CTL) for a country. If the country isn't available and it is still programmed in the EEPROM then it will cause an error and stop the initialization with: Invalid EEPROM contents The current CTL mappings for this country are: * 2.4GHz: ETSI * 5GHz: FCC Signed-off-by: Sven Eckelmann <sven.eckelmann@openmesh.com> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org> Signed-off-by: Sasha Levin <alexander.levin@microsoft.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>

2011-04-07ath: add missing regdomain pair 0x5c mappingChristian Lamparter1-0/+1
Joe Culler reported a problem with his AR9170 device: > ath: EEPROM regdomain: 0x5c > ath: EEPROM indicates we should expect a direct regpair map > ath: invalid regulatory domain/country code 0x5c > ath: Invalid EEPROM contents It turned out that the regdomain 'APL7_FCCA' was not mapped yet. According to Luis R. Rodriguez [Atheros' engineer] APL7 maps to FCC_CTL and FCCA maps to FCC_CTL as well, so the attached patch should be correct. 2009-04-23atheros: introduce ath module containing common ath5k/ath9k/ar9170 codeBob Copeland1-0/+473
This change creates a new module, ath.ko, which includes code that can be shared between ath5k, ath9k and ar9170. For now, extract most of the ath9k regulatory code so it can also be used in ath5k.
