2017-08-12fsl/fman: implement several errata workaroundsFlorinel Iordache1-25/+93
Implemented workarounds for the following dTSEC Erratum: A002, A004, A0012, A0014, A004839 on several operations that involve MAC CFG register changes: adjust link, rx pause frames, modify MAC address. 2017-04-01fsl/fman: take into account all RGMII modesMadalin Bucur1-1/+7
Accept the internal delay RGMII variants. Signed-off-by: Madalin Bucur <madalin.bucur@nxp.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2017-02-20fsl/fman: fix spelling mistake in variable name en_tsu_err_exeptionColin Ian King1-4/+4
trivial fix to spelling mistake, en_tsu_err_exeption should be en_tsu_err_exception Signed-off-by: Colin Ian King <colin.king@canonical.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2016-03-14fsl/fman: fix dtsec_set_tx_pause_framesIgal Liberman1-4/+3
Fix a bug introduced in e06a03b (fsl/fman: fix the pause_time test) When pause_time is set to '0' - pause frames are disabled and there's no need to apply dTSEC-A003 Errata workaround. Signed-off-by: Igal Liberman <igal.liberman@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2016-01-14fsl/fman: Delete one function call "put_device" in dtsec_config()Markus Elfring1-1/+0
The Coccinelle semantic patch script "deref_null.cocci" pointed a problem out in the implementation of the function "dtsec_config". A null pointer was assigned to the data structure member "tbiphy" of the variable "dtsec" if a matching device was not found. A call of the function "put_device" was unnecessary then because a previous call of the function "get_device" was not triggered. Thus remove the function call "put_device" after the printing of the desired error message. Signed-off-by: Markus Elfring <elfring@users.sourceforge.net> Signed-off-by: David S. 2016-01-07phy: Add an mdio_device structureAndrew Lunn1-3/+3
Not all devices attached to an MDIO bus are phys. So add an mdio_device structure to represent the generic parts of an mdio device, and place this structure into the phy_device. Signed-off-by: Andrew Lunn <andrew@lunn.ch> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2016-01-06fsl/fman: fix the pause_time testDan Carpenter1-1/+1
pause_time is unsigned so it can't be less than zero. The bug means that we allow invalid pause-times. Fixes: 57ba4c9b56d8 ('fsl/fman: Add FMan MAC support') Signed-off-by: Dan Carpenter <dan.carpenter@oracle.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2015-12-28fsl/fman: Add FMan MAC supportIgal Liberman1-0/+1453
Add the Data Path Acceleration Architecture Frame Manger MAC support. This patch adds The FMan MAC configuration, initialization and runtime control routines. This patch contains support for these types of MACs: - dTSEC: Three speed Ethernet controller (10/100/1000 Mbps) - tGEC: 10G Ethernet controller (10 Gbps) - mEMAC: Multi-rate Ethernet MAC (10/100/1000/10000 Mbps) Different FMan revisions have different type and number of MACs.
