2024-08-03memory: fsl_ifc: Make FSL_IFC config visible and selectableEsben Haabendal1-2/+1
[ Upstream commit 9ba0cae3cac07c21c583f9ff194f74043f90d29c ] While use of fsl_ifc driver with NAND flash is fine, as the fsl_ifc_nand driver selects FSL_IFC automatically, we need the CONFIG_FSL_IFC option to be selectable for platforms using fsl_ifc with NOR flash. 2023-07-15mtd: rawnand: marvell: add support for AC5 SoCChris Packham1-1/+1
Add support for the AC5/AC5X SoC from Marvell. The NFC on this SoC only supports SDR modes up to 3. Marvell's SDK includes some predefined values for the ndtr registers. These haven't been incorporated as the existing code seems to get good values based on measurements taken with an oscilloscope. 2022-11-25mtd: rawnand: Drop obsolete dependencies on COMPILE_TESTJean Delvare1-3/+3
Since commit 0166dc11be91 ("of: make CONFIG_OF user selectable"), it is possible to test-build any driver which depends on OF on any architecture by explicitly selecting OF. Therefore depending on COMPILE_TEST as an alternative is no longer needed. It is actually better to always build such drivers with OF enabled, so that the test builds are closer to how each driver will actually be built on its intended target. Building them without OF may not test much as the compiler will optimize out potentially large parts of the code. In the worst case, this could even pop false positive warnings. Dropping COMPILE_TEST here improves the quality of our testing and avoids wasting time on non-existent issues. 2022-03-07mtd: rawnand: omap2: Actually prevent invalid configuration and build errorRoger Quadros1-2/+1
The root of the problem is that we are selecting symbols that have dependencies. This can cause random configurations that can fail. The cleanest solution is to avoid using select. This driver uses interfaces from the OMAP_GPMC driver so we have to depend on it instead. 2022-01-23mtd: rawnand: brcmnand: Add BCMA shimFlorian Fainelli1-0/+13
Add a BCMA shim to allow us to register the brcmnand driver using the BCMA bus which provides indirect memory mapped access to SoC registers. There are a number of registers that need to be byte swapped because they are natively big endian, coming directly from the NAND chip, and there is no bus interface unlike the iProc or STB platforms that performs the byte swapping for us. 2021-01-20ARM: remove u300 platformArnd Bergmann1-2/+1
The Ericsson U300 platform was one of two ARM929 based SoC platforms for mobile phones in ST-Ericsson after the merger of Ericsson with ST-NXP into ST-Ericsson, the other one being the ST Nomadik. The platform was not widely adopted in Linux based systems and was replaced with the far superior ST-Ericsson U8500 in 2011, but Linus Walleij kept maintaining the code for the whole time. Linus continues to use the Nomadik machine, but decided to drop u300 from the kernel as part of this year's spring cleaning. Thanks for having maintained it all these years.
