2013-11-07mtd: bcm47xxnflash: Use devm_kzallocSachin Kamat1-13/+5
devm_kzalloc is device managed and simplifies the code. Signed-off-by: Sachin Kamat <sachin.kamat@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Brian Norris <computersforpeace@gmail.com>
2013-11-07mtd: bcm47xxnflash: Use module_platform_driverSachin Kamat1-19/+1
module_platform_driver simplifies the code by removing boiler plate. Signed-off-by: Sachin Kamat <sachin.kamat@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Brian Norris <computersforpeace@gmail.com>

2013-02-04mtd: bcm47xxnflash: register this as normal driverHauke Mehrtens1-5/+2
When platform_driver_probe() is used and no device is registered for this driver -ENODEV is returned and and error message is shown. Not all BCM47xx SoC have a nand flash chip controller and chip and for them an error message was shown. 2013-02-04mtd: bcm47xxnflash: fix messageHauke Mehrtens1-1/+2
This is not a serial flash driver, but a nand flash driver Signed-off-by: Hauke Mehrtens <hauke@hauke-m.de> Signed-off-by: Artem Bityutskiy <artem.bityutskiy@linux.intel.com>
2013-01-04Drivers: mtd: remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman1-2/+2
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand. 2012-11-22mtd: prepare place for BCMA NAND flash driver(s)Rafał Miłecki1-0/+108
BCMA bus can contain NAND flash memory, it's registered in system as platform device. This adds required hooks and place for controler specific drivers. Signed-off-by: Rafał Miłecki <zajec5@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Artem Bityutskiy <artem.bityutskiy@linux.intel.com>
