2013-06-12ARM: clps711x: autcpu12: Special driver for handling memory is removedAlexander Shiyan1-129/+0
This patch provide migration to using "mtd-ram" driver instead of using special driver for handling NVRAM memory. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
2013-01-26mtd: Convert to devm_ioremap_resource()Thierry Reding1-5/+4
Convert all uses of devm_request_and_ioremap() to the newly introduced devm_ioremap_resource() which provides more consistent error handling. devm_ioremap_resource() provides its own error messages so all explicit error messages can be removed from the failure code paths. devm free functions should not have to be explicitly used. Signed-off-by: Julia Lawall <Julia.Lawall@lip6.fr> Signed-off-by: Artem Bityutskiy <artem.bityutskiy@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <David.Woodhouse@intel.com>
2012-09-29mtd: autcpu12-nvram: Convert driver to platform_deviceAlexander Shiyan1-69/+81
Because we can have a single kernel to support multiple machines, we need to make loading specific drivers for the target platform only. For this, driver is converted to the platform driver. 2012-09-29mtd: autcpu12-nvram: Fix compile breakageAlexander Shiyan1-8/+11
Update driver autcpu12-nvram.c so it compiles; map_read32/map_write32 no longer exist in the kernel so the driver is totally broken. Additionally, map_info name passed to simple_map_init is incorrect. 2011-05-25mtd: convert remaining users to mtd_device_register()Jamie Iles1-2/+2
The older add_mtd_device()/add_mtd_partitions() and their removal counterparts will soon be gone. Replace uses with mtd_device_register() and mtd_device_unregister(). 2008-08-07[ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King1-2/+2
This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-08-07[ARM] Remove asm/hardware.h, use asm/arch/hardware.h insteadRussell King1-1/+1
Remove includes of asm/hardware.h in addition to asm/arch/hardware.h. Then, since asm/hardware.h only exists to include asm/arch/hardware.h, update everything to directly include asm/arch/hardware.h and remove asm/hardware.h. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-06-04MTD/JFFS2: remove CVS keywordsAdrian Bunk1-2/+0
Once upon a time, the MTD repository was using CVS. This patch therefore removes all usages of the no longer updated CVS keywords from the MTD code. This also includes code that printed them to the user. Signed-off-by: Adrian Bunk <bunk@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw2@infradead.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
