The mmc_host_ops structure is only stored in the ops field of an mmc_host structure, which is declared as const. Thus the mmc_host_ops structure itself can be const. 2016-02-29mmc: sdricoh_cs: Less checks in sdricoh_init_mmc() after, error detectionMarkus Elfring1-12/+8
This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software. Two pointer checks could be repeated by the sdricoh_init_mmc() function during error handling even if the relevant properties can be determined for the involved variables before by source code analysis. * This implementation detail could be improved by adjustments for jump targets according to the Linux coding style convention. * Drop an unnecessary initialisation for the variable "mmc" then. pcmcia_enable_device() now replaces pcmcia_request_configuration(). Instead of config_req_t, all necessary flags are either passed as a parameter to pcmcia_enable_device(), or (in rare circumstances) set in struct pcmcia_device -> flags. With the last remaining user of include/pcmcia/cs.h gone, remove all references. 2010-05-27mmc: remove the "state" argument to mmc_suspend_host()Matt Fleming1-1/+1
Even though many mmc host drivers pass a pm_message_t argument to mmc_suspend_host() that argument isn't used the by MMC core. As host drivers are converted to dev_pm_ops they'll have to construct pm_message_t's (as they won't be passed by the PM subsystem any more) just to appease the mmc suspend interface. We might as well just delete the unused paramter.
