2016-03-09mfd: intel-lpss: Remove clock tree on error pathAndy Shevchenko1-0/+1
We forgot to remove the clock tree if something goes wrong in ->probe(). Add a call to intel_lpss_unregister_clock() on error path in ->probe() to fix the potential issue. 2015-12-07mfd: intel-lpss: Add support for passing device propertiesMika Westerberg1-4/+12
If the boot firmware does not support ACPI we need a way to pass device configuration information to the drivers. The unified device properties API already supports passing platform data via properties so let's take advantage of that and allow probe drivers to pass set of properties to the host controller driver. In order to do that we need to be able to modify the MFD cell corresponding the host controller, so make the core driver to take copy of the cell instead of using it directly. Then we can assign info->pset to the resulting copy of a cell and let the MFD core to assign that to the resulting device. 2015-11-07Merge tag 'asm-generic-for-linus' of ↵Linus Torvalds1-2/+1
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arnd/asm-generic Pull asm-generic cleanups from Arnd Bergmann: "The asm-generic changes for 4.4 are mostly a series from Christoph Hellwig to clean up various abuses of headers in there. The patch to rename the io-64-nonatomic-*.h headers caused some conflicts with new users, so I added a workaround that we can remove in the next merge window. The only other patch is a warning fix from Marek Vasut" * tag 'asm-generic-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arnd/asm-generic: asm-generic: temporarily add back asm-generic/io-64-nonatomic*.h asm-generic: cmpxchg: avoid warnings from macro-ized cmpxchg() implementations gpio-mxc: stop including <asm-generic/bug> n_tracesink: stop including <asm-generic/bug> n_tracerouter: stop including <asm-generic/bug> mlx5: stop including <asm-generic/kmap_types.h> hifn_795x: stop including <asm-generic/kmap_types.h> drbd: stop including <asm-generic/kmap_types.h> move count_zeroes.h out of asm-generic move io-64-nonatomic*.h out of asm-generic
2015-10-26mfd: intel-lpss: Use writeq() helperAndy Shevchenko1-8/+4
There are already helper functions to do 64-bit I/O on 32-bit machines, thus we don't need to reinvent the wheel. In our case we can't use readq() / writeq() even on 64-bit kernel since there is a hardware limitation (OCP bus is a 32-bit bus). 2015-07-28mfd: Add support for Intel Sunrisepoint LPSS devicesAndy Shevchenko1-0/+524
The new coming Intel platforms such as Skylake will contain Sunrisepoint PCH. The main difference to the previous platforms is that the LPSS devices are compound devices where usually main (SPI, HSUART, or I2C) and DMA IPs are present. This patch brings the driver for such devices found on Sunrisepoint PCH.
