2013-03-05[media] vb2: Add support for non monotonic timestampsKamil Debski1-0/+1
Not all drivers use monotonic timestamps. This patch adds a way to set the timestamp type per every queue. In addition, set proper timestamp type in drivers that I am sure that use either MONOTONIC or COPY timestamps. Other drivers will correctly report UNKNOWN timestamp type instead of assuming that all drivers use monotonic timestamps. Convert drivers using wall clock time (CLOCK_REALTIME) to timestamp from the monotonic timer (CLOCK_MONOTONIC). Signed-off-by: Sakari Ailus <sakari.ailus@iki.fi> Acked-by: Hans Verkuil <hans.verkuil@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
2012-11-21[media] stk1160: Try to continue with fewer transfer buffersEzequiel Garcia2-4/+24
Many people are trying to use stk1160 on low memory devices. Instead of failing if one allocation fails, we allow the driver to continue working if fewer transfer buffers are available. Signed-off-by: Ezequiel Garcia <elezegarcia@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>

2012-10-10[media] stk1160: Add support for S-Video inputEzequiel Garcia3-6/+19
In order to fully replace easycap driver with stk1160, it's also necessary to add S-Video support. A similar patch backported for v3.2 kernel has been tested by three different users. Signed-off-by: Ezequiel Garcia <elezegarcia@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
2012-09-25[media] stk1160: Stop device and unqueue buffers when start_streaming() failsEzequiel Garcia1-4/+12
If start_streaming() fails (e.g. out of memory) the driver needs to rewind the start procedure. This implies possibly stopping the device and clearing the buffer queue. Signed-off-by: Ezequiel Garcia <elezegarcia@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
2012-09-25[media] stk1160: Fix s_fmt and try_fmt implementationEzequiel Garcia1-10/+2
The driver was expecting to get a valid pixelformat on s_fmt and try_fmt. This is wrong, since the user may pass a bitmask and expect the driver to change it, returning a valid (fourcc) pixelformat. This problem was spotted by v4l2-compliance. Signed-off-by: Ezequiel Garcia <elezegarcia@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
2012-09-25[media] stk1160: Handle urb allocation failure condition properlyEzequiel Garcia1-6/+10
When an urb buffer can't be allocated, the currently allocated buffer count must be saved so they can properly released. Moreover, it's sufficient to call stk1160_free_isoc to have all urb buffers released. Signed-off-by: Ezequiel Garcia <elezegarcia@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
