2023-10-07media: rc: keymaps: add missing MODULE_DESCRIPTION to keymapsHans Verkuil1-0/+1
When building the modules 'modpost' warns about missing MODULE_DESCRIPTION. Since almost none of the rc keymap modules have this, it produces a lot of warnings. As a first step to fixing all media modules, add this line to all keymaps. The description should be a human-readable string describing the remote or the remote controller that the keymap can be used with. Note that keymaps/rc-cec.c is actually compiled into the rc-core, so that is the sole keymap source that didn't need this. 2019-06-27media: rc: Prefer KEY_NUMERIC_* for number buttons on remotesBastien Nocera1-10/+10
Prefer KEY_NUMERIC_* for number buttons on remotes. Now all the remotes use KEY_NUMERIC_[0-9] for the number buttons rather than keys that could be affected by modifiers (Caps-Lock, or Num-Lock) or regional keymaps. Created using: sed -i 's/KEY_\([0-9]\) /KEY_NUMERIC_\1 /' *.c sed -i 's/KEY_\([0-9]\)}/KEY_NUMERIC_\1}/' *.c sed -i 's/``KEY_\([0-9]\)/``KEY_NUMERIC_\1/' Documentation/media/uapi/rc/rc-tables.rst Signed-off-by: Bastien Nocera <hadess@hadess.net> Signed-off-by: Sean Young <sean@mess.org> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab+samsung@kernel.org>

2017-08-20media: rc: rename RC_TYPE_* to RC_PROTO_* and RC_BIT_* to RC_PROTO_BIT_*Sean Young1-4/+4
RC_TYPE is confusing and it's just the protocol. So rename it. Suggested-by: Hans Verkuil <hans.verkuil@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: Sean Young <sean@mess.org> Acked-by: Hans Verkuil <hans.verkuil@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@s-opensource.com>

2011-11-01drivers/media: Add module.h to all files using it implicitlyPaul Gortmaker1-0/+1
A pending cleanup will mean that module.h won't be implicitly everywhere anymore. Make sure the modular drivers in clocksource are actually calling out for <module.h> explicitly in advance. Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com>
2011-03-23[media] rc/keymaps: use KEY_CAMERA for snapshotsMauro Carvalho Chehab1-1/+1
On a few places, KEY_MHP were used for snapshots. However, KEY_CAMERA is used for it on all the other keyboards that have a snapshot/Picture button. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Jarod Wilson <jarod@redhat.com>

2010-12-29[media] rc: Name RC keymap tables as rc_map_tableMauro Carvalho Chehab1-1/+1
Remote keytables had different names all over the place. Part of the fault is due to a bad naming when rc subsystem was created, but there were lots of old names that were still here. Use a common standard for everything.
