2023-08-18media: solo6x10: Convert to generic PCM copy opsTakashi Iwai1-33/+6
This patch converts the solo6x10 driver code to use the new unified PCM copy callback. It's a straightforward conversion from *_user() to *_iter() variants. As copy_to_iter() updates the internal offest at each write, we can drop the dst counter update in the loop, too. Note that copy_to_iter() returns the copied bytes, hence the error condition is adjusted accordingly. 2020-12-03media: solo6x10: switch from 'pci_' to 'dma_' APIChristophe JAILLET1-5/+6
The wrappers in include/linux/pci-dma-compat.h should go away. The patch has been generated with the coccinelle script below and has been hand modified to replace GFP_ with a correct flag. It has been compile tested. When memory is allocated in 'snd_solo_pcm_open()' (solo6x10-g723.c) GFP_KERNEL can be used because this flag is already used jew a few lines above. When memory is allocated in 'solo_enc_alloc()' (solo6x10-v4l2-enc.c) GFP_KERNEL can be used because this flag is already used jew a few lines above. Replace the copy and the silence ops with the new PCM ops. The device supports only 1 channel and 8bit sample, so it's always bytes=frames, and we need no conversion of unit in the callback. Also, it's a capture stream, thus no silence is needed.
