2015-05-13[media] saa7134: avoid complex macro warningsMauro Carvalho Chehab1-4/+8
The debug macros are not properly defined, as they generate warnings like: ERROR: Macros with complex values should be enclosed in parentheses +#define core_dbg(fmt, arg...) if (core_debug) \ + printk(KERN_DEBUG pr_fmt("core: " fmt), ## arg) Use do { } while (0) for those macros. 2015-05-13[media] saa7134: replace remaining occurences or printk()Mauro Carvalho Chehab1-2/+1
Instead of using printk(), use pr_foo() macros. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>
2015-05-13[media] saa7134: change the debug macros for IR inputMauro Carvalho Chehab1-22/+22
Rename the macros to input_dbg() and ir_dbg(), using pr_fmt() on both, to be coherent with the other debug macro changes. The ir_dbg() also prints the IR name. I'm not sure if it is a good idea to keep both macros here, but merging them would require tests on different flavors of saaa7134-based boards. So, for now, let's keep both. 2015-05-13[media] saa7134: prepare to use pr_foo macrosMauro Carvalho Chehab1-3/+3
Add a pr_fmt macro, and move saa7134.h header to the beginning, to avoid warnings when using the pr_foo macros. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>
2014-07-26[media] media: saa7134: remove if based on uninitialized variableHeinrich Schuchardt1-4/+0
Variable b is not initialized. Only with a small chance it has random value 0xFF. Remove if statement based on this value. Signed-off-by: Heinrich Schuchardt <xypron.glpk@gmx.de> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <m.chehab@samsung.com>
2014-07-24[media] saa7134: NEC scancode fixDavid Härdeman1-1/+1
This driver codes the two address bytes in reverse order when compared to the other drivers, so make it consistent (and update the keymap, note that the result is a prefix change from 0x6b86 -> 0x866b, and the latter is pretty common among the NECX keymaps. While not conclusive, it's still a strong hint that the change is correct). Signed-off-by: David Härdeman <david@hardeman.nu> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <m.chehab@samsung.com>
2014-07-24[media] rc-core: document the protocol typeDavid Härdeman1-3/+3
Right now the protocol information is not preserved, rc-core gets handed a scancode but has no idea which protocol it corresponds to. This patch (which required reading through the source/keymap for all drivers, not fun) makes the protocol information explicit which is important documentation and makes it easier to e.g. support multiple protocols with one decoder (think rc5 and rc-streamzap). The information isn't used yet so there should be no functional changes. 2014-07-24[media] rc-core: improve ir-kbd-i2c get_key functionsDavid Härdeman1-30/+46
The arguments used for ir-kbd-i2c's get_key() functions are not really suited for rc-core and the ir_raw/ir_key distinction is just confusing. Convert all of them to return a protocol/scancode/toggle triple instead. Signed-off-by: David Härdeman <david@hardeman.nu> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <m.chehab@samsung.com>
2013-04-08[media] saa7134: Add AverMedia A706 AverTV Satellite Hybrid+FMOndrej Zary1-0/+3

2012-10-27[media] rc-core: add separate defines for protocol bitmaps and numbersDavid Härdeman1-1/+1
The RC_TYPE_* defines are currently used both where a single protocol is expected and where a bitmap of protocols is expected. Functions like rc_keydown() and functions which add/remove entries to the keytable want a single protocol. Future userspace APIs would also benefit from numeric protocols (rather than bitmap ones). Keytables are smaller if they can use a small(ish) integer rather than a bitmap. Other functions or struct members (e.g. allowed_protos, enabled_protocols, etc) accept multiple protocols and need a bitmap. Using different types reduces the risk of programmer error. Using a protocol enum whereever possible also makes for a more future-proof user-space API as we don't need to worry about a sufficient number of bits being available (e.g. in structs used for ioctl() calls). The use of both a number and a corresponding bit is dalso one in e.g. the input subsystem as well (see all the references to set/clear bit when changing keytables for example). This patch separate the different usages in preparation for upcoming patches. Where a single protocol is expected, enum rc_type is used; where one or more protocol(s) are expected, something like u64 is used. The patch has been rewritten so that the format of the sysfs "protocols" file is no longer altered (at the loss of some detail). The file itself should probably be deprecated in the future though.
