2015-06-09[media] dvb: Get rid of typedev usage for enumsMauro Carvalho Chehab1-2/+4
The DVB API was originally defined using typedefs. This is against Kernel CodingStyle, and there's no good usage here. While we can't remove its usage on userspace, we can avoid its usage in Kernelspace. So, let's do it. This patch was generated by this shell script: for j in $(grep typedef include/uapi/linux/dvb/frontend.h |cut -d' ' -f 3); do for i in $(find drivers/media -name '*.[ch]' -type f) $(find drivers/staging/media -name '*.[ch]' -type f); do sed "s,${j}_t,enum $j," <$i >a && mv a $i; done; done While here, make CodingStyle fixes on the affected lines. 2015-05-13[media] saa7134: fix CodingStyle issues on the lines touched by pr_foo refactorMauro Carvalho Chehab1-9/+18
Several lines touched by the pr_foo refactoring patches are not following the Linux Coding style. While we won't be fixing the style globally at the driver, we should, at least, fix on the lines we touched. Basically, this patch add (or remove) whitespaces and blank lines where needed. No functional changes. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>
2015-05-13[media] saa7134-dvb: use pr_debug() for the saa7134 dvb moduleMauro Carvalho Chehab1-19/+10
As this module doesn't use any debug level, it is easy to just replace all debug printks by pr_debug(). Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>
2015-05-13[media] saa7134-dvb: get rid of wprintk() macroMauro Carvalho Chehab1-32/+27
wprintk() macro is now just a wrapper for pr_warn(). Get rid of it! Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>
2015-05-13[media] saa7134: instead of using printk KERN_foo, use pr_fooMauro Carvalho Chehab1-5/+5
Replaces all occurrences of printk with KERN_INFO, KERN_WARNING and KERN_ERR to pr_info/pr_warning, pr_err, using this small shell script: for i in drivers/media/pci/saa7134/*.[ch]; do sed s,'printk(KERN_INFO ','pr_info(',g <$i >a && mv a $i; done for i in drivers/media/pci/saa7134/*.[ch]; do sed s,'printk(KERN_ERR ','pr_err(',g <$i >a && mv a $i; done for i in drivers/media/pci/saa7134/*.[ch]; do sed s,'printk(KERN_WARNING ','pr_warn(',g <$i >a && mv a $i; done Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>
2015-05-13[media] saa7134: prepare to use pr_foo macrosMauro Carvalho Chehab1-2/+3
Add a pr_fmt macro, and move saa7134.h header to the beginning, to avoid warnings when using the pr_foo macros. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>
2015-05-01[media] saa7134: fix bad indentingMauro Carvalho Chehab1-1/+1
drivers/media/pci/saa7134/saa7134-dvb.c:1682 dvb_init() warn: inconsistent indenting Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@osg.samsung.com>
2014-05-23[media] saa7134: convert to vb2Hans Verkuil1-16/+27
Convert the saa7134 driver to vb2. Note that while this uses the vb2-dma-sg version, the VB2_USERPTR mode is disabled. The DMA hardware only supports DMAing full pages, and in the USERPTR memory model the first and last scatter-gather buffer is almost never a full page. In practice this means that we can't use the VB2_USERPTR mode. This has been tested with raw video, compressed video, VBI, radio, DVB and video overlays. Unfortunately, a vb2 conversion is one of those things you cannot split up in smaller patches, it's all or nothing. This patch switches the whole driver over to vb2, using the vb2 ioctl and fop helper functions. 2014-05-23[media] saa7134: move saa7134_pgtable to saa7134_dmaqueueHans Verkuil1-1/+1
All dmaqueue's use saa7134_pgtable, so move it into struct saa7134_dmaqueue. The videobuf_queue priv_data field now points to the dmaqueue struct. Signed-off-by: Hans Verkuil <hans.verkuil@cisco.com> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <m.chehab@samsung.com>

2013-04-08[media] cx88: kernel bz#9476: Fix tone setting for Nova-S+ model 92001Mauro Carvalho Chehab1-3/+5
Hauppauge Nova-S-Plus DVB-S model 92001 does not lock on horizontal polarisation. According with the info provided at the BZ, model 92002 does. The difference is that, on model 92001, the tone select is done via isl6421, while, on other devices, this is done via cx24123 code. This patch adds a way to override the demod's set_tone at isl6421 driver. In order to avoid regressions, the override is enabled only for cx88 Nova S plus model 92001. For all other models and devices, the set_tone is provided by the demod driver. Patch originally proposed at bz@9476[1] by Michel Meyers and John Donoghue but applying the original patch would break support for all other devices based on isl6421.
