2023-08-22interconnect: qcom: bcm-voter: Use enable_maks for keepalive votingKonrad Dybcio1-4/+4
BCMs with an enable_mask expect to only have that specific value written to them. The current implementation only works by miracle for BCMs with enable mask == BIT(0), as the minimal vote we've been using so far just so happens to be equal to that. Use the correct value with keepalive voting. 2023-08-22interconnect: qcom: bcm-voter: Improve enable_mask handlingKonrad Dybcio1-7/+36
We don't need all the complex arithmetic for BCMs utilizing enable_mask, as all we need to do is to determine whether there's any user (or keepalive) asking for it to be on. Separate the logic for such BCMs for a small speed boost. 2023-07-11interconnect: qcom: Add support for mask-based BCMsMike Tipton1-0/+5
Some BCMs aren't directly associated with the data path (i.e. ACV) and therefore don't communicate using BW. Instead, they are simply enabled/disabled with a simple bit mask. Add support for these. 2021-04-09treewide: Change list_sort to use const pointersSami Tolvanen1-1/+1
list_sort() internally casts the comparison function passed to it to a different type with constant struct list_head pointers, and uses this pointer to call the functions, which trips indirect call Control-Flow Integrity (CFI) checking. Instead of removing the consts, this change defines the list_cmp_func_t type and changes the comparison function types of all list_sort() callers to use const pointers, thus avoiding type mismatches. 2020-09-08interconnect: qcom: Add support for per-BCM scaling factorsMike Tipton1-2/+2
Currently, bcm-voter always assumes requests are made in KBps and that BCM HW always wants them in Bps, so it always scales the requests by 1000. However, certain use cases and BCMs may use different units. Thus, add support for BCM-specific scaling factors. 2020-09-08interconnect: qcom: Only wait for completion in AMC/WAKE by defaultMike Tipton1-1/+1
Change the default TCS wait behavior to only wait for completion in AMC and WAKE. Waiting isn't necessary in the SLEEP TCS, since votes are only being removed in this case. Resources can be safely disabled asynchronously in parallel with the rest of the power collapse sequence. This reduces the sleep entry latency. 2020-09-08interconnect: qcom: Support bcm-voter-specific TCS wait behaviorMike Tipton1-11/+21
Currently, all bcm-voters set tcs_cmd::wait=true for the last VCD command in each TCS (AMC, WAKE, and SLEEP). However, some bcm-voters don't need the completion and instead need to optimize for latency. For instance, disabling wait-for-completion in the WAKE set can decrease resume latency and allow for certain operations to occur in parallel with the WAKE TCS triggering. This is only safe in very specific situations. Keep the default behavior of always waiting, but allow it to be overridden in devicetree. 2020-04-23interconnect: qcom: Fix uninitialized tcs_cmd::waitMike Tipton1-2/+3
Currently, if tcs_cmd_gen is called with commit=false, then tcs_cmd::wait is left uninitialized. Since the tcs_cmd structures passed to this function aren't zero-initialized, then we're left with random wait values. This results in waiting for completion for more commands than is necessary, depending on what's on the stack at the time. Removing the unnecessary if-condition fixes this, but add an explicit memset of the tcs_cmd structure as well to ensure predictable behavior if more tcs_cmd members are added in the future.
