2022-08-16i2c: Make remove callback return voidUwe Kleine-König1-3/+1
The value returned by an i2c driver's remove function is mostly ignored. (Only an error message is printed if the value is non-zero that the error is ignored.) So change the prototype of the remove function to return no value. This way driver authors are not tempted to assume that passing an error to the upper layer is a good idea. All drivers are adapted accordingly. There is no intended change of behaviour, all callbacks were prepared to return 0 before. 2021-03-08Input: s6sy761 - fix coordinate read bit shiftCaleb Connolly1-2/+2
The touch coordinate register contains the following: byte 3 byte 2 byte 1 +--------+--------+ +-----------------+ +-----------------+ | | | | | | | | X[3:0] | Y[3:0] | | Y[11:4] | | X[11:4] | | | | | | | | +--------+--------+ +-----------------+ +-----------------+ Bytes 2 and 1 need to be shifted left by 4 bits, the least significant nibble of each is stored in byte 3. Currently they are only being shifted by 3 causing the reported coordinates to be incorrect. This matches downstream examples, and has been confirmed on my device (OnePlus 7 Pro). 2017-11-10Input: add support for the Samsung S6SY761 touchscreenAndi Shyti1-0/+559
The S6SY761 touchscreen is a capicitive multi-touch controller for mobile use. It's connected with i2c at the address 0x48. This commit provides a basic version of the driver which can handle only initialization, touch events and power states. The controller is controlled by a firmware which, in the version I currently have, doesn't provide all the possible functionalities mentioned in the datasheet.
