2017-01-25IB/qib: Remove empty functionLeon Romanovsky1-10/+0
Commit f06267104dd9 ("RDMA: Update workqueue usage") removed content of qib_qsfp_deinit(...) and left it empty. This patch deletes all leftovers of that function. 2015-12-08IB/qib: Minor fixes to qib per SFF 8636Easwar Hariharan1-2/+2
Minor errors found via code inspection during future development. SFF 8636 defines bit position 2 to hold the status indication of QSFP memory paging. The mask used to test for the value was incorrect and is fixed in this patch. Additionally, the dump function had a mismatch between the field being printed out and the field used to source the data which was fixed. 2011-11-29IB/qib: Fix over-scheduling of QSFP workMike Marciniszyn1-12/+0
Don't over-schedule QSFP work on driver initialization. It could end up being run simultaneously on two different CPUs resulting in bad EEPROM reads. In combination with setting the physical IB link state prior to the IBC being brought out of reset, this can cause the link state machine to start training early with wrong settings. 2011-10-22IB/qib: Hold links until tuning data is availableMitko Haralanov1-10/+15
Hold the link state machine until the tuning data is read from the QSFP EEPROM so correct tuning settings are applied before the state machine attempts to bring the link up. Link is also held on cable unplug in case a different cable is used. 2011-01-17RDMA: Update workqueue usageTejun Heo1-5/+4
* ib_wq is added, which is used as the common workqueue for infiniband instead of the system workqueue. All system workqueue usages including flush_scheduled_work() callers are converted to use and flush ib_wq. * cancel_delayed_work() + flush_scheduled_work() converted to cancel_delayed_work_sync(). * qib_wq is removed and ib_wq is used instead. This is to prepare for deprecation of flush_scheduled_work(). Signed-off-by: Tejun Heo <tj@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <rolandd@cisco.com>
