2017-10-19qed: Fix iWARP out of order flowMichal Kalderon1-0/+1
Out of order flow is not working for iWARP. This patch got cut out from initial series that added out of order support for iWARP. Make out of order code common for iWARP and iSCSI. Add new configuration option CONFIG_QED_OOO. Set by qedr and qedi Kconfigs. 2017-09-22RDMA/qedr: fix build error without ipv6Arnd Bergmann1-3/+6
When CONFIG_IPV6 disabled, we run into a link error: drivers/infiniband/hw/qedr/qedr_iw_cm.o: In function `qedr_addr6_resolve.isra.3': qedr_iw_cm.c:(.text+0x4e0): undefined reference to `ip6_route_output_flags' The ipv6 handling code is obviously not needed here, so this adds a compile-time check for the Kconfig symbol in all three places in the code that decide between ipv4 and ipv6. We don't have to worry about a link error wtih QEDR=y/IPV6=m, as that configuration is already prohibited by CONFIG_INFINIBAND depending on "m || IPV6 != m". 2017-08-10RDMA: Simplify get firmware interfaceLeon Romanovsky1-3/+2
There is a need to forward FW version to user space application through RDMA netlink. In order to make it safe, there is need to declare nla_policy and limit the size of FW string. The new define IB_FW_VERSION_NAME_MAX will limit the size of FW version string. That define was chosen to be equal to ETHTOOL_FWVERS_LEN, because many drivers anyway are limited by that value indirectly. The introduction of this define allows us to remove the string size from get_fw_str function signature. Signed-off-by: Leon Romanovsky <leonro@mellanox.com>

Add 64KB PAGE_SIZE support to user-space CQ, SQ and RQ queues. De-facto it means that code was added to translate 64KB pages to smaller 4KB pages that the FW can handle. Otherwise, the FW would wrap (or jump to the next page) when reaching 4KB while the user space library will continue on the same large page. 2017-06-09qed*: LL2 callback operationsMichal Kalderon3-58/+188
LL2 today is interrupt driven - when tx/rx completion arrives [or any other indication], qed needs to operate on the connection and pass the information to the protocol-driver [or internal qed consumer]. Since we have several flavors of ll2 employeed by the driver, each handler needs to do an if-else to determine the right functionality to use based on the connection type. In order to make things more scalable [given that we're going to add additional types of ll2 flavors] move the infrastrucutre into using a callback-based approach - the callbacks would be provided as part of the connection's initialization parameters. git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/dledford/rdma Pull rdma DMA mapping updates from Doug Ledford: "Drop IB DMA mapping code and use core DMA code instead. Bart Van Assche noted that the ib DMA mapping code was significantly similar enough to the core DMA mapping code that with a few changes it was possible to remove the IB DMA mapping code entirely and switch the RDMA stack to use the core DMA mapping code. This resulted in a nice set of cleanups, but touched the entire tree and has been kept separate for that reason." * tag 'for-next-dma_ops' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/dledford/rdma: (37 commits) IB/rxe, IB/rdmavt: Use dma_virt_ops instead of duplicating it IB/core: Remove ib_device.dma_device nvme-rdma: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent RDS: net: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent IB/srpt: Modify a debug statement IB/srp: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent IB/iser: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent IB/IPoIB: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent IB/rxe: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent IB/vmw_pvrdma: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent IB/usnic: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent IB/qib: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent IB/qedr: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent IB/ocrdma: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent IB/nes: Remove a superfluous assignment statement IB/mthca: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent IB/mlx5: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent IB/mlx4: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent IB/i40iw: Remove a superfluous assignment statement IB/hns: Switch from dma_device to dev.parent ...
