2014-08-06ide: use module_platform_driver()Christoph Jaeger1-12/+1
Eliminate boilerplate code by using module_platform_driver(). Signed-off-by: Christoph Jaeger <christophjaeger@linux.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2013-09-05ide: use dev_get_platdata()Jingoo Han1-1/+1
Use the wrapper function for retrieving the platform data instead of accessing dev->platform_data directly. Signed-off-by: Jingoo Han <jg1.han@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2013-01-04Drivers: ide: remove __dev* attributes.Greg Kroah-Hartman1-8/+6
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev* markings need to be removed. This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers. Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand. Cc: Bill Pemberton <wfp5p@virginia.edu> Cc: "David S. Miller" <davem@davemloft.net> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2011-08-04ide: Fix irq flags madnessThomas Gleixner1-1/+5
commit ec1a123 (IDE: pass IRQ flags to the IDE core) introduced the bogosity of passing unfiltered resource->flags to the irq_flags which are used for request_irq. It results in random bits set (especially IORESOURCE_IRQ which maps to IRQF_PER_CPU). Filter the bits proper. Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2010-04-16IDE: pass IRQ flags to the IDE coreYegor Yefremov1-0/+1
This enables shared IRQs and other features to be used with platform devices Signed-off-by: Yegor Yefremov <yegorslists@googlemail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2009-11-23drivers/ide/ide_platform.c: use resource_size()H Hartley Sweeten1-4/+4
Use resource_size() for devm_{ioremap/io_port_map}. Signed-off-by: H Hartley Sweeten <hsweeten@visionengravers.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2009-06-16ide: remove driver_data direct access of struct deviceGreg Kroah-Hartman1-1/+1
In the near future, the driver core is going to not allow direct access to the driver_data pointer in struct device. Instead, the functions dev_get_drvdata() and dev_set_drvdata() should be used. These functions have been around since the beginning, so are backwards compatible with all older kernel versions. 2009-05-17ide: remove hw_regs_t typedefBartlomiej Zolnierkiewicz1-2/+2
Remove hw_regs_t typedef and rename struct hw_regs_s to struct ide_hw. There should be no functional changes caused by this patch. Acked-by: Sergei Shtylyov <sshtylyov@ru.mvista.com> Signed-off-by: Bartlomiej Zolnierkiewicz <bzolnier@gmail.com>
2009-05-17ide: pass number of ports to ide_host_{alloc,add}() (v2)Bartlomiej Zolnierkiewicz1-2/+2
Pass number of ports to ide_host_{alloc,add}() and then update all users accordingly. v2: - drop no longer needed NULL initializers in buddha.c, cmd640.c and gayle.c (noticed by Sergei) There should be no functional changes caused by this patch. Acked-by: Sergei Shtylyov <sshtylyov@ru.mvista.com> Signed-off-by: Bartlomiej Zolnierkiewicz <bzolnier@gmail.com>
2009-05-17ide: remove chipset field from hw_regs_tBartlomiej Zolnierkiewicz1-2/+1
* Convert host drivers that still use hw_regs_t's chipset field to use the one in struct ide_port_info instead. * Move special handling of ide_pci chipset type from ide_hw_configure() to ide_init_port(). * Remove chipset field from hw_regs_t. While at it: - remove stale comment in delkin_cb.c There should be no functional changes caused by this patch.
