2020-11-03i2c: at91: remove legacy DMA left oversAlexandre Belloni1-2/+0
Commit dc6df6e90de9 ("i2c: at91: remove legacy DMA support") removed legcy DMA support from the driver. Remove the last use of the definitions from linux/platform_data/dma-atmel.h and stop including this header. 2020-08-05i2c: at91: Move to generic GPIO bus recoveryCodrin Ciubotariu1-3/+0
Make the Microchip at91 driver the first to use the generic GPIO bus recovery support from the I2C core and discard the driver implementation. Signed-off-by: Codrin Ciubotariu <codrin.ciubotariu@microchip.com> Signed-off-by: Wolfram Sang <wsa@kernel.org>
2020-05-05i2c: at91: Send bus clear command if SDA is downCodrin Ciubotariu1-1/+6
After a transfer timeout, some faulty I2C slave devices might hold down the SDA pin. We can generate a bus clear command, hoping that the slave might release the pins. If the CLEAR command is not supported, we will use gpio recovery, if available, to reset the bus. 2020-02-26i2c: at91: implement i2c bus recoveryKamel Bouhara1-0/+4
Implement i2c bus recovery when slaves devices might hold SDA low. In this case re-assign SCL/SDA to gpios and issue 9 dummy clock pulses until the slave release SDA. 2019-10-24i2c: at91: add support for advanced digital filteringEugen Hristev1-0/+5
Add new platform data support for advanced digital filtering for i2c. The sama5d2 and sam9x60 support this feature. This digital filter allows the user to configure the maximum width of the spikes that can be filtered. 2019-03-25i2c: at91: split driver into core and master fileJuergen Fitschen1-0/+147
The single file i2c-at91.c has been split into core code (i2c-at91-core.c) and master mode specific code (i2c-at91-master.c). This should enhance maintainability and reduce ifdeffery for slave mode related code. The code itself hasn't been touched. Shared functions only had to be made non-static. Furthermore, includes have been cleaned up.
