2023-11-21drm/dp_mst: Store the MST PBN divider value in fixed point formatImre Deak3-5/+9
On UHBR links the PBN divider is a fractional number, accordingly store it in fixed point format. For now drm_dp_get_vc_payload_bw() always returns a whole number and all callers will use only the integer part of it which should preserve the current behavior. The next patch will fix drm_dp_get_vc_payload_bw() for UHBR rates returning a fractional number for those (also accounting for the channel coding efficiency correctly). The current code does '(bpp << 4) / 16' in the MST PBN calculation, but that is just the same as 'bpp' so the DSC codepath achieves absolutely nothing. Fix it up so that the fractional part of the bpp value is actually used instead of truncated away. 64*1006 has enough zero lsbs that we can just shift that down in the dividend and thus still manage to stick to a 32bit divisor. 2023-11-07drm/amd/display: Fix handling duplicate planes on one streamSung Joon Kim6-34/+90
[why] DML2 does not handle the case when we have a single stream sourcing 2 or more planes that are duplicates of one another. To properly handle this scenario, pipe index to plane index mapping is used to decide which plane is being processed and programmed. [how] Create static array of pipe index to plane index map.
