2015-12-10dmaengine: sh: Remove unused R-Car HPB-DMAC driverGeert Uytterhoeven1-669/+0
As of commit 4baadb9e05c68962 ("ARM: shmobile: r8a7778: remove obsolete setup code"), the Renesas R-Car HPB-DMAC driver is no longer used. In theory it could still be used on R-Car Gen1 SoCs, but that requires adding DT support to the driver, which is not planned. Remove the driver, it can be resurrected from git history when needed. 2015-01-26dmaengine: rcar-hpbdma: tidyup residue_granularityKuninori Morimoto1-1/+1
The driver doesn't support residue reporting at all. residue_granularity should be set to DMA_RESIDUE_GRANULARITY_DESCRIPTOR. 2014-11-06dmaengine: Remove .owner field for driverKiran Padwal1-1/+0
There is no need to init .owner field. Based on the patch from Peter Griffin <peter.griffin@linaro.org> "mmc: remove .owner field for drivers using module_platform_driver" This patch removes the superflous .owner field for drivers which use the module_platform_driver API, as this is overriden in platform_driver_register anyway." 2014-11-06dmaengine: sh: Remove chancnt affectationsMaxime Ripard1-2/+0
chanctnt is already filled by dma_async_device_register, which uses the channel list to know how much channels there is. Since it's already filled, we can safely remove it from the drivers' probe function. 2014-06-01dmaengine: rcar-hpbdma: Include linux/err.hLaurent Pinchart1-0/+1
linux/err.h isn't implicitly included by the current headers on all platforms, resulting in compilation failures due to implicit declarations of IS_ERR and PTR_ERR. Fix this by including linux/err.h. Plane information should be initialized when halted. It may restart from the wrong plane without this patch. 2013-11-28rcar-hpbdma: fixup channel busy check for double planeKuninori Morimoto1-1/+5
The device busy check method is different between single and double planes. It will always return "busy" without this patch if channel used as double plane. 2013-10-11rcar-hpbdma: add parameter to set_slave() methodSergei Shtylyov1-2/+5
Commit 4981c4dc194efb18f0e9a02f1b43e926f2f0d2bb (DMA: shdma: switch DT mode to use configuration data from a match table) added a new parameter to set_slave() method but unfortunately got merged later than commit c4f6c41ba790bbbfcebb4c47a (dma: add driver for R-Car HPB-DMAC), so that the HPB-DMAC driver retained the old prototype which caused this warning: drivers/dma/sh/rcar-hpbdma.c:485: warning: initialization from incompatible pointer type The newly added parameter is used to override DMA slave address from 'struct hpb_dmae_slave_config', so we have to add the 'slave_addr' field to 'struct hpb_dmae_chan', conditionally assign it in set_slave() method, and return in slave_addr() method.
