[ Upstream commit e9eb52037a529fbb307c290e9951a62dd728b03d ] The return value of sg_nents_for_len was assigned to an unsigned long in starfive_hash_digest, causing negative error codes to be converted to large positive integers. Add error checking for sg_nents_for_len and return immediately on failure to prevent potential buffer overflows. It is also required to roll back the previous probe sequences in case of deferred_probe. So, this removes 'err_probe_defer" goto label and just use err_dma_init instead. 2023-08-23crypto: drivers - Explicitly include correct DT includesRob Herring2-2/+1
The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus. As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they "temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to explicitly include the correct includes. 2023-07-20crypto: starfive - Convert to platform remove callback returning voidUwe Kleine-König1-4/+2
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers are converted, .remove_new() is renamed to .remove(). Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove callback to the void returning variant.
