2017-04-14x86/numachip timer: Set ->min_delta_ticks and ->max_delta_ticksNicolai Stange1-0/+2
In preparation for making the clockevents core NTP correction aware, all clockevent device drivers must set ->min_delta_ticks and ->max_delta_ticks rather than ->min_delta_ns and ->max_delta_ns: a clockevent device's rate is going to change dynamically and thus, the ratio of ns to ticks ceases to stay invariant. Make the numachip clockevent driver initialize these fields properly. This patch alone doesn't introduce any change in functionality as the clockevents core still looks exclusively at the (untouched) ->min_delta_ns and ->max_delta_ns. As soon as this has changed, a followup patch will purge the initialization of ->min_delta_ns and ->max_delta_ns from this driver. 2015-09-23x86/numachip: Fix timer build conflictDaniel J Blueman1-3/+3
Fix Numachip build conflict from: ce2e572 x86/numachip: Introduce Numachip2 timer mechanisms drivers/built-in.o:(.discard+0x1b): multiple definition of `__pcpu_unique_cpu_ced' arch/x86/built-in.o:(.discard+0xa0da): first defined here Ensure cpu_ced is unique by prefixing with 'numachip2'. 2015-09-22x86/numachip: Introduce Numachip2 timer mechanismsDaniel J Blueman1-0/+95
Add 1GHz 64-bit Numachip2 clocksource timer support for accurate system-wide timekeeping, as core TSCs are unsynchronised. Additionally, add a per-core clockevent mechanism that interrupts via the platform IPI vector after a programmed period.
