2017-03-08clk: ti: use automatic clock alias generation frameworkTero Kristo1-1/+10
Generate clock aliases automatically for all TI clock drivers. Signed-off-by: Tero Kristo <t-kristo@ti.com> Acked-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2016-11-04clk: ti: make clk-dra7-atl explicitly non-modularPaul Gortmaker1-17/+3
The Kconfig currently controlling compilation of this code is: arch/arm/mach-omap2/Kconfig:config SOC_DRA7XX arch/arm/mach-omap2/Kconfig: bool "TI DRA7XX" ...meaning that it currently is not being built as a module by anyone. Lets remove the modular code that is essentially orphaned, so that when reading the driver there is no doubt it is builtin-only. We explicitly disallow a driver unbind, since that doesn't have a sensible use case anyway, and it allows us to drop the ".remove" code for non-modular drivers. Since module_platform_driver() uses the same init level priority as builtin_platform_driver() the init ordering remains unchanged with this commit. Also note that MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE is a no-op for non-modular code. We also delete the MODULE_LICENSE tags etc. since all that information is already contained at the top of the file in the comments. 2016-04-20clk: ti: dra7-atl-clock: Fix of_node reference countingPeter Ujfalusi1-0/+2
of_find_node_by_name() will call of_node_put() on the node so we need to get it first to avoid warnings. The cfg_node needs to be put after we have finished processing the properties. 2015-07-20clk: ti: Include clk.hStephen Boyd1-0/+1
This clock provider uses the consumer API, so include clk.h explicitly. Acked-by: Tero Kristo <t-kristo@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>

2015-05-15clk: ti: dra7-atl-clock: Fix possible ERR_PTR dereferenceKrzysztof Kozlowski1-0/+5
of_clk_get_from_provider() returns ERR_PTR on failure. The dra7-atl-clock driver was not checking its return value and immediately used it in __clk_get_hw(). __clk_get_hw() dereferences supplied clock, if it is not NULL, so in that case it would dereference an ERR_PTR. 2014-09-26clk: Remove .owner field for driverKiran Padwal1-1/+0
There is no need to init .owner field. Based on the patch from Peter Griffin <peter.griffin@linaro.org> "mmc: remove .owner field for drivers using module_platform_driver" This patch removes the superflous .owner field for drivers which use the module_platform_driver API, as this is overriden in platform_driver_register anyway." 2014-08-21clk: ti: dra7-atl: Provide error check for incoming parameters in set_rateNishanth Menon1-1/+5
Check for valid parameters in check rate. Else, we end up getting errors. This occurs as part of the inital clock tree update of child clock nodes where new_rate could be 0 for non functional clocks. 2014-05-28CLK: TI: Driver for DRA7 ATL (Audio Tracking Logic)Peter Ujfalusi1-0/+312
Audio Tracking Logic is designed to be used by HD Radio applications to synchronize the audio output clocks to the baseband clock. ATL can be also used to track errors between two reference clocks (BWS, AWS) and generate a modulated clock output which averages to some desired frequency. In essence ATL is generating a clock to be used by an audio codec and also to be used by the SoC as MCLK. To be able to integrate the ATL provided clocks to the clock tree we need two types of DT binding: - DT clock nodes to represent the ATL clocks towards the CCF - binding for the ATL IP itself which is going to handle the hw configuration The reason for this type of setup is that ATL itself is a separate device in the SoC, it has it's own address space and clock domain. Other IPs can use the ATL generated clock as their functional clock (McASPs for example) and external components like audio codecs can also use the very same clock as their MCLK. The ATL IP in DRA7 contains 4 ATL instences. Signed-off-by: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tero Kristo <t-kristo@ti.com>
