2023-07-19clk: renesas: rzg2l: Fix CPG_SIPLL5_CLK1 register writeBiju Das2-7/+2
[ Upstream commit d1c20885d3b01e6a62e920af4b227abd294d22f3 ] As per the RZ/G2L HW(Rev.1.30 May2023) manual, there are no "write enable" bits in the CPG_SIPLL5_CLK1 register. So fix the CPG_SIPLL5_CLK register write by removing the "write enable" bits. 2023-03-17clk: renesas: rcar-gen3: Disable R-Car H3 ES1.*Wolfram Sang5-173/+13
[ Upstream commit b1dec4e78599a2ce5bf8557056cd6dd72e1096b0 ] R-Car H3 ES1.* was only available to an internal development group and needed a lot of quirks and workarounds. These become a maintenance burden now, so our development group decided to remove upstream support for this SoC. Public users only have ES2 onwards. In addition to the ES1 specific removals, a check for it was added preventing the machine to boot further. It may otherwise inherit wrong clock settings from ES2 which could damage the hardware. [ Upstream commit 2e0d7d3eabce3babae1fd66d7650e00c848a3b45 ] As serial communication requires a clean clock signal, the Serial Communication Interfaces with FIFO (SCIF) are clocked by a clock that is not affected by Spread Spectrum or Fractional Multiplication. Hence change the parent clocks for the SCIF modules from the S0D12_PER clock to the SASYNCPERD4 clock (which has the same clock rate), cfr. R-Car S4-8 Hardware User's Manual rev. 0.81. 2022-05-19clk: renesas: r9a06g032: Probe possible childrenMiquel Raynal1-0/+5
The clock controller device on r9a06g032 takes all the memory range that is described as being a system controller. This range contains many different (unrelated?) registers besides the ones belonging to the clock controller, that can necessitate to be accessed from other peripherals. For instance, the dmamux registers are there. The dmamux "device" will be described as a child node of the clock/system controller node, which means we need the top device driver (the clock controller driver in this case) to populate its children manually. In case of error when populating the children, we do not fail the probe on purpose to keep the clk driver up and running. 2022-05-19clk: renesas: r9a06g032: Export function to set dmamuxMiquel Raynal1-1/+34
The dmamux register is located within the system controller. Without syscon, we need an extra helper in order to give write access to this register to a dmamux driver.
