2018-06-03powerpc: Remove core support for Marvell mv64x60 hostbridgesMark Greer1-152/+0
There are no longer any platforms that use Marvell's mv64x60 hostbridges so remove the supporting kernel code. CC: Dale Farnsworth <dale@farnsworth.org> Signed-off-by: Mark Greer <mgreer@animalcreek.com> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
2014-01-16dt/bindings: Remove device_type "serial" from marvell,mv64360-mpscGrant Likely1-1/+1
device_type is deprecated. There is no need to check for it in device driver code and no need to specify it in the device tree. Remove the property from stock .dts files and remove the check for it from device drivers. This change should be 100% backwards compatible with old device trees. 2011-06-10treewide: Convert uses of struct resource to resource_size(ptr)Joe Perches1-2/+2
Several fixes as well where the +1 was missing. Done via coccinelle scripts like: @@ struct resource *ptr; @@ - ptr->end - ptr->start + 1 + resource_size(ptr) and some grep and typing. Mostly uncompiled, no cross-compilers. Signed-off-by: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Signed-off-by: Jiri Kosina <jkosina@suse.cz>
2008-04-24[POWERPC] Fix mv64x60 early console code to use cell-index propertyRemi Machet1-1/+1
The MPSC driver and prpmc2800.dts have been modified to use property 'cell-index' as the serial port number, but the early serial console driver for the mv64x60 has not been modified to use this new property. This fixes it. Signed-off-by: Remi Machet (rmachet@slac.stanford.edu) Acked-by: Dale Farnsworth <dale@farnsworth.org> Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>
2008-04-15[POWERPC] mv64x60: Fix FDT compatible names: mv64x60 => mv64360Mark A. Greer1-1/+1
Compatible names should refer to a specific version of the hardware, without wildcards. Change each instance of mv64x60 to mv64360, which is the oldest version we currently support. 2007-09-22[POWERPC] Add Marvell mv64x60 udbg putc/getc functionsDale Farnsworth1-0/+152
Commit 69331af, "Fixes and cleanups for earlyprintk aka boot console", resulted in printk output prior to the initialization of the mpsc console driver not being printed. That commit causes the mpsc's CON_PRINTBUFFER flag to be cleared since udbg should have printed the previous output. I guess we can no longer ignore udbg. :) This patch provides udbg_putc() and udbg_getc() functions for the Marvell mv64x60 chips. These functions are enabled if an mv64x60 port is to be used as the console as determined from the device tree. Signed-off-by: Dale Farnsworth <dale@farnsworth.org> Acked-by: Mark A.
