Currently, little endian is only supported on powernv and pseries,
however, Kconfigs still allow us to include other platforms in a LE
kernel, this may result in space wasting or even build error if some
BE-only platforms always assume they are built for a BE kernel. So just
modify the Kconfigs of BE-only platforms to remove them from being built
for a LE kernel.
For 32bit only platforms, nothing needs to be done, because
CPU_LITTLE_ENDIAN depends on PPC64. For 64bit supported platforms, add
CPU_BIG_ENDIAN to dependencies explicitly, so that these platforms will
be disabled for LE [Suggested-by: Cédric Le Goater <clg@fr.ibm.com>].

Back in the olden days we added support for using 64K pages to map the
SPU (Synergistic Processing Unit) local store on Cell, when the main
kernel was using 4K pages.
This was useful at the time because distros were using 4K pages, but
using 64K pages on the SPUs could reduce TLB pressure there.
However these days the number of Cell users is approaching zero, and
supporting this option adds unpleasant complexity to the memory
management code.
So drop the option, CONFIG_SPU_FS_64K_LS, and all related code.

The celleb code has seen no actual development for ~7 years.
We (maintainers) have no access to test hardware, and it is highly
likely the code has bit-rotted.
As far as we're aware the hardware was never widely available, and is
certainly no longer available, and no one on the list has shown any
interest in it over the years.
So remove it. If anyone has one and cares please speak up.

Currently spu_handle_mm_fault() is in the cell platform.
This code is generically useful for other non-cell co-processors on powerpc.
This patch moves this function out of the cell platform into arch/powerpc/mm so
that others may use it.

In commit 9aa3283595451ca093500ff0977b106e1f465586 (ehea/ibm*: Move the
IBM drivers) the IBM_NEW_EMAC* were renames to IBM_EMAC*
The conversion was incomplete so that even if the driver was added to
the .config it wasn't built, but there were no errors). In this commit
we also update the various defconfigs that use EMAC to use the new
Kconfig symbol, and explicitly add the NET_VENDOR_IBM guard.
We do not explicitly select the Kconfig dependencies, as this would force
EMAC on. Doing it in the defconfig allows more flexibility.
Tested on a canyondlands board.

I wrote sputrace before generic tracing infrastrucure was available.
Now that we have the generic event tracer we can convert it over and
remove a lot of code:

To use it make sure CONFIG_EVENT_TRACING is enabled and then enable
the spufs trace channel by
echo 1 > /sys/kernel/debug/tracing/events/spufs/spufs_context/enable
and then read the trace records using e.g.

Currently PPC_CELL_NATIVE selects PPC_OF_PLATFORM_PCI, but does not
select PCI. This can lead to a config with the former and the latter
disabled, which does not build.
To fix this PPC_CELL_NATIVE should select PCI. However, that would
force PCI on for QPACE, which also selects PPC_CELL_NATIVE. So
instead move the select of PPC_OF_PLATFORM_PCI and PCI under both
IBM_CELL_BLADE and CELLEB.

CONFIG_PPC_MULTIPLATFORM is a remain of the pre-powerpc days and isn't
really meaningful anymore. It was basically equivalent to PPC64 || 6xx.
This removes it along with the following changes:
- 32-bit platforms that relied on PPC32 && PPC_MULTIPLATFORM now rely
on 6xx which is what they want anyway.
- A new symbol, PPC_BOOK3S, is defined that represent compliance with
the "Server" variant of the architecture. This is set when either 6xx
or PPC64 is set and open the door for future BOOK3E 64-bit.
- 64-bit platforms that relied on PPC64 && PPC_MULTIPLATFORM now use
PPC64 && PPC_BOOK3S
- A separate and selectable CONFIG_PPC_OF_BOOT_TRAMPOLINE option is now
used to control the use of prom_init.c

Since the QPACE (Chromodynamics Parallel Computing on the
Cell Broadband Engine) platform doesn't use a iommu, doesn't
have PCI devices and a MPIC much lesser setup and
configurations are needed. So far all devices are detected
as OF device. A notifier function is used to set the dma_ops
for the of_platform bus. Further this patch splits the
PPC_CELL_NATIVE into PPC_CELL_COMMON which are parts that are
shared with the QPACE platform and the rest.

This patch adds support for the power button on future IBM cell blades.
It actually doesn't shut down the machine. Instead it exposes an
input device /dev/input/event0 to userspace which sends KEY_POWER
if power button has been pressed.
haldaemon actually recognizes the button, so a plattform independent acpid
replacement should handle it correctly.

This patch adds a cpufreq governor that takes the number of running spus
into account. It's very similar to the ondemand governor, but not as complex.
Instead of hacking spu load into the ondemand governor it might be easier to
have cpufreq accepting multiple governors per cpu in future.
Don't know if this is the right way, but it would keep the governors simple.

Based on BenH's earlier work, this is a new version of the EMAC driver
for the built-in ethernet found on PowerPC 4xx embedded CPUs. The
same ASIC is also found in the Axon bridge chip. This new version is
designed to work in the arch/powerpc tree, using the device tree to
probe the device, rather than the old and ugly arch/ppc OCP layer.
This driver is designed to sit alongside the old driver (that lies in
drivers/net/ibm_emac and this one in drivers/net/ibm_newemac). The
old driver is left in place to support arch/ppc until arch/ppc itself
reaches its final demise (not too long now, with luck).
This driver still has a number of things that could do with cleaning
up, but I think they can be fixed up after merging. Specifically:
- Should be adjusted to properly use the dma mapping API.
Axon needs this.
- Probe logic needs reworking, in conjuction with the general
probing code for of_platform devices. The dependencies here between
EMAC, MAL, ZMII etc. make this complicated. At present, it usually
works, because we initialize and register the sub-drivers before the
EMAC driver itself, and (being in driver code) runs after the devices
themselves have been instantiated from the device tree.

This patch reorganizes the code of the driver into three files.
Two cbe_cpufreq_pmi.c and cbe_cpufreq_pervasive.c care about hardware.
cbe_cpufreq.c contains the logic.
There is no changed behaviour, except that the PMI related function
is now located in a seperate module cbe_cpufreq_pmi. This module
will be required by cbe_cpufreq, if CONFIG_CBE_CPUFREQ_PMI has been set.

This patch adds a new "psmap" file to spufs that allows mmap of all of
the problem state mapping of SPEs. It is compatible with 64k pages. In
addition, it removes mmap ability of individual files when using 64k
pages, with the exception of signal1 and signal2 which will both map the
entire 64k page holding both registers. It also removes
CONFIG_SPUFS_MMAP as there is no point in not building mmap support in
spufs.
It goes along a separate patch to libspe implementing usage of that new
file to access problem state registers.
Another patch will follow up to fix races opened up by accessing
the 'runcntl' register directly, which is made possible with this
patch.

This is a first version of support for the Cell BE "Reliability,
Availability and Serviceability" features.
It doesn't yet handle some of the RAS interrupts (the ones described in
iic_is/iic_irr), I'm still working on a proper way to expose these. They
are essentially a cascaded controller by themselves (sic !) though I may
just handle them locally to the iic driver. I need also to sync with
David Erb on the way he hooked in the performance monitor interrupt.
So that's all for 2.6.17 and I'll do more work on that with my rework of
the powerpc interrupt layer that I'm hacking on at the moment.

Based on an older patch from Mike Kravetz <kravetz@us.ibm.com>
We need to have a mem_map for high addresses in order to make fops->no_page
work on spufs mem and register files. So far, we have used the
memory_present() function during early bootup, but that did not work when
CONFIG_NUMA was enabled.
We now use the __add_pages() function to add the mem_map when loading the

This patch is layered on top of CONFIG_SPARSEMEM
and is patterned after direct mapping of LS.
This patch allows mmap() of the following regions:
"mfc", which represents the area from [0x3000 - 0x3fff];
"cntl", which represents the area from [0x4000 - 0x4fff];
"signal1" which begins at offset 0x14000; "signal2" which
begins at offset 0x1c000.
The signal1 & signal2 files may be mmap()'d by regular user
processes. The cntl and mfc file, on the other hand, may
only be accessed if the owning process has CAP_SYS_RAWIO,
because they have the potential to confuse the kernel
with regard to parallel access to the same files with
regular file operations: the kernel always holds a spinlock
when accessing registers in these areas to serialize them,
which can not be guaranteed with user mmaps,
