2013-08-14vtime: Describe overriden functions in dedicated arch headersFrederic Weisbecker1-0/+1
If the arch overrides some generic vtime APIs, let it describe these on a dedicated and standalone header. This way it becomes convenient to include it in vtime generic headers without irrelevant stuff in such a low level header. 2012-11-14tracing,x86: Add a TSC trace_clockDavid Sharp1-0/+1
In order to promote interoperability between userspace tracers and ftrace, add a trace_clock that reports raw TSC values which will then be recorded in the ring buffer. Userspace tracers that also record TSCs are then on exactly the same time base as the kernel and events can be unambiguously interlaced. Tested: Enabled a tracepoint and the "tsc" trace_clock and saw very large timestamp values. v2: Move arch-specific bits out of generic code. v3: Rename "x86-tsc", cleanups v7: Generic arch bits in Kbuild. 2012-10-03asm-generic: Add default clkdev.hMark Brown1-0/+1
Ease the deployment of clkdev by providing a default asm/clkdev.h for use if the arch does not have an include/asm/clkdev.h. Due to limitations in Kbuild we manually add clkdev.h to all architectures that don't have one rather than having the header appear by default. 2011-12-16powerpc: Use rwsem.h from generic locationRichard Kuo1-0/+2
As of commit dd472da38, rwsem.h was moved into asm-generic. This patch removes the arch file and points the build at its new location. Signed-off-by: Richard Kuo <rkuo@codeaurora.org> Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org>

2009-01-15byteorder: make swab.h include asm/swab.h like a regular headerHarvey Harrison1-1/+0

2008-08-04powerpc: Move include files to arch/powerpc/include/asmStephen Rothwell1-0/+37
from include/asm-powerpc. This is the result of a mkdir arch/powerpc/include/asm git mv include/asm-powerpc/* arch/powerpc/include/asm Followed by a few documentation/comment fixups and a couple of places where <asm-powepc/...> was being used explicitly. Of the latter only one was outside the arch code and it is a driver only built for powerpc. Signed-off-by: Stephen Rothwell <sfr@canb.auug.org.au> Signed-off-by: Paul Mackerras <paulus@samba.org>
