2008-01-29[MIPS] cleanup tx39/tx49 setup codeAtsushi Nemoto1-186/+0
Remove some unnecessary codes, includes and files. Signed-off-by: Atsushi Nemoto <anemo@mba.ocn.ne.jp> Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2007-10-19[MIPS] Kill duplicated setup_irq() for cp0 timerAtsushi Nemoto1-16/+0
Also many plat_timer_setup() can be killed too. Signed-off-by: Atsushi Nemoto <anemo@mba.ocn.ne.jp> Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2007-10-12[MIPS] Deforest the function pointer jungle in the time code.Ralf Baechle1-8/+1
Hard to follow who is pointing what to where and why so it's simply getting in the way of the time code renovation. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2007-10-12[MIPS] tx4927: Cleanup unused macros and non-standard IO accessors.Atsushi Nemoto1-5/+6
This patch removes many unused constants, replaces non-standard IO accessors with standard ones, and kills terrible tx4927_mips.h file. Signed-off-by: Atsushi Nemoto <anemo@mba.ocn.ne.jp> Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2007-03-04[MIPS] No need to write c0_compare in plat_timer_setupAtsushi Nemoto1-10/+0
If R4k counter was used for hpt_timer and interrupt source, c0_hpt_timer_init() initializes the c0_compare register. Signed-off-by: Atsushi Nemoto <anemo@mba.ocn.ne.jp> Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2006-10-31[MIPS] TX4927: Remove indent error message that somehow ended in the code.Ralf Baechle1-2/+0

2006-10-10[MIPS] Fix build errors related to wbflush.h on tx4927/tx4938.Atsushi Nemoto1-10/+0
TX49 CPUs have a SYNC instruction so that CONFIG_CPU_HAS_WB is no longer needed. Signed-off-by: Atsushi Nemoto <anemo@mba.ocn.ne.jp> Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2006-07-14[MIPS] Replace board_timer_setup function pointer by plat_timer_setup.Ralf Baechle1-3/+1

2006-06-19[MIPS] Cleanup memory managment initialization.Ralf Baechle1-1/+1
Historically plat_mem_setup did the entire platform initialization. This was rather impractical because it meant plat_mem_setup had to get away without any kind of memory allocator. To keep old code from breaking plat_setup was just renamed to plat_setup and a second platform initialization hook for anything else was introduced. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2005-10-29Conversion to plat_setup() for TX4927 also.Ralf Baechle1-1/+1
Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2005-10-29Get rid of early_init. There's more need to make this form ofRalf Baechle1-4/+0
initialization actually useful and as is certainly unmergable with upstream. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2005-09-05[PATCH] mips: nuke trailing whitespaceRalf Baechle1-1/+1

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
