2012-12-13MIPS: PMC-Sierra Yosemite: Remove support.Ralf Baechle1-224/+0
Nobody seems to be interested anymore and upstream also never had an ethernet driver. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2012-05-15MIPS: Fix several implicit uses of export.h/module.hPaul Gortmaker1-0/+1
These will show up as a build failure once we clean up a misuse of module.h in the mips termios header. Uses export.h: (EXPORT_SYMBOL) arch/mips/cavium-octeon/setup.c arch/mips/pmc-sierra/yosemite/setup.c arch/mips/rb532/devices.c arch/mips/sni/setup.c Uses module.h: (symbol_get/put) arch/mips/alchemy/devboards/db1200.c Uses module.h: (print_modules) arch/mips/kernel/traps.c Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com> Cc: linux-mips@linux-mips.org Patchwork: https://patchwork.linux-mips.org/patch/3448/ Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2009-08-15timekeeping: Increase granularity of read_persistent_clock()Martin Schwidefsky1-2/+3
The persistent clock of some architectures (e.g. s390) have a better granularity than seconds. To reduce the delta between the host clock and the guest clock in a virtualized system change the read_persistent_clock function to return a struct timespec. 2008-10-20mips: use bcd2bin/bin2bcdAdrian Bunk1-15/+15
Changes mips to use the new bcd2bin/bin2bcd functions instead of the obsolete BCD_TO_BIN/BIN_TO_BCD/BCD2BIN/BIN2BCD macros. 2008-04-29proper extern for late_time_initAdrian Bunk1-3/+0
Add a proper extern for late_time_init in include/linux/init.h Signed-off-by: Adrian Bunk <bunk@kernel.org> Acked-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu> Cc: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Cc: john stultz <johnstul@us.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2007-10-19[MIPS] Kill duplicated setup_irq() for cp0 timerAtsushi Nemoto1-5/+0
Also many plat_timer_setup() can be killed too. Signed-off-by: Atsushi Nemoto <anemo@mba.ocn.ne.jp> Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2007-10-12[MIPS] Switch from to_tm to rtc_time_to_tmRalf Baechle1-2/+6
This replaces the MIPS-specific to_tm function with the generic rtc_time_to_tm function. The big difference between the two functions is that rtc_time_to_tm uses epoch 70 while to_tm uses 1970, so the result of rtc_time_to_tm needs to be fixed up. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2007-10-12[MIPS] Deforest the function pointer jungle in the time code.Ralf Baechle1-15/+3
Hard to follow who is pointing what to where and why so it's simply getting in the way of the time code renovation. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2007-08-01[MIPS] Fix build breakage due to duplicate cpu_clock definitionRalf Baechle1-2/+2
commit e436d80085133858bf2613a630365e8a0459fd58 Author: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu> Date: Thu Jul 19 21:28:35 2007 +0200 [PATCH] sched: implement cpu_clock(cpu) high-speed time source broke the build of several MIPS platforms which were already using the symbol cpu_clock for the own purposes. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2007-07-18serial: add early_serial_setup() back to header fileYinghai Lu1-0/+1
early_serial_setup was removed from serial.h, but forgot to put in serial_8250.h Signed-off-by: Yinghai Lu <yinghai.lu@sun.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2007-02-06[MIPS] Add missing ifdef arch/mips/pmc-sierra/yosemite/setup.cMathieu Desnoyers1-0/+2
early_serial_setup is only defined when CONFIG_SERIAL_8250 is set. Signed-off-by: Mathieu Desnoyers <mathieu.desnoyers@polymtl.ca> Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>

2006-06-19[MIPS] Cleanup memory managment initialization.Ralf Baechle1-1/+1
Historically plat_mem_setup did the entire platform initialization. This was rather impractical because it meant plat_mem_setup had to get away without any kind of memory allocator. To keep old code from breaking plat_setup was just renamed to plat_setup and a second platform initialization hook for anything else was introduced. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2006-03-27[PATCH] mips: fixed collision of rtc function nameYoichi Yuasa1-2/+2

2006-02-05[SERIAL] uart_port flags member should use UPF_*Russell King1-1/+1
Convert usage of ASYNC_* to UPF_*. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-11-07Use rtc_lock to protect RTC operationsAtsushi Nemoto1-0/+6
Many RTC routines were not protected against each other, so there are potential races, for example, ntp-update against /dev/rtc. This patch fixes them using rtc_lock. Signed-off-by: Atsushi Nemoto <anemo@mba.ocn.ne.jp> Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2005-10-29Get rid of early_init. There's more need to make this form ofRalf Baechle1-5/+1
initialization actually useful and as is certainly unmergable with upstream. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
