2013-02-01MIPS: MSP71xx: Move code.Ralf Baechle1-245/+0
Now that Yosemite's gone we can move the MSP71xx code one level up. Shane McDonald <mcdonald.shane@gmail.com>'s https://patchwork.linux-mips.org/patch/4736/ has been folded into this patch. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2013-02-01MIPS: Whitespace cleanup.Ralf Baechle1-4/+4
Having received another series of whitespace patches I decided to do this once and for all rather than dealing with this kind of patches trickling in forever. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2011-12-08MIPS: Fix up inconsistency in panic() string argument.Ralf Baechle1-1/+1
Panic() invokes printk() to add a \n internally, so panic arguments should not themselves end in \n. Panic invocations in arch/mips and elsewhere are inconsistently sometimes terminating in \n, sometimes not. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2011-10-20MIPS: MSP71xx: Fix build error.Ralf Baechle1-0/+1
After the recent cleanup of the register_*_smp_ops() functions msp71xx wasn't fixed to include the now necessary header resulting in: /home/ralf/src/linux/upstream-linus/arch/mips/pmc-sierra/msp71xx/msp_setup.c: In function ‘prom_init’: /home/ralf/src/linux/upstream-linus/arch/mips/pmc-sierra/msp71xx/msp_setup.c:231:2: error: implicit declaration of function ‘register_vsmp_smp_ops’ [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration] cc1: all warnings being treated as errors Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2011-07-21MIPS: Malta: Fix crash in SMP kernel on non-CMP systems.Ralf Baechle1-5/+3
Since 6be63bbbdab66b9185dc6f67c8b1bacb6f37f946 (lmo) rsp. af3a1f6f4813907e143f87030cde67a9971db533 (kernel.org) the Malta code does no longer probe for presence of GCMP if CMP is not configured. This means that the variable gcmp_present well be left at its default value of -1 which normally is meant to indicate that GCMP has not yet been mmapped. This non-zero value is now interpreted as GCMP being present resulting in a write attempt to a GCMP register resulting in a crash. Reported and a build fix on top of my fix by Rob Landley <rob@landley.net>. 2009-05-14MIPS: MSP71xx: Resolve use of non-existent GPIO routines in msp71xx resetShane McDonald1-6/+2
There have been a number of compile problems with the msp71xx configuration ever since it was included in the linux-mips.org repository. This patch resolves compilation problems with attempting to reset the board using non-existent GPIO routines. This patch has been compile-tested against the current HEAD. 2007-10-12[MIPS] Deforest the function pointer jungle in the time code.Ralf Baechle1-3/+0
Hard to follow who is pointing what to where and why so it's simply getting in the way of the time code renovation. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
