2014-11-20KVM: ia64: removePaolo Bonzini1-99/+0
KVM for ia64 has been marked as broken not just once, but twice even, and the last patch from the maintainer is now roughly 5 years old. Time for it to rest in peace. Acked-by: Gleb Natapov <gleb@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>

2010-05-19KVM: Let vcpu structure alignment be determined at runtimeAvi Kivity1-1/+1
vmx and svm vcpus have different contents and therefore may have different alignmment requirements. Let each specify its required alignment. Signed-off-by: Avi Kivity <avi@redhat.com>
2009-12-27KVM: ia64: fix build breakage due to host spinlock changeLuck, Tony1-2/+2
Len Brown pointed out that allmodconfig is broken for ia64 because of: arch/ia64/kvm/vmm.c: In function 'vmm_spin_unlock': arch/ia64/kvm/vmm.c:70: error: 'spinlock_t' has no member named 'raw_lock' KVM has it's own spinlock routines. It should not depend on the base kernel spinlock_t type (which changed when ia64 switched to ticket locks). Define its own vmm_spinlock_t type. 2009-06-10KVM: ia64: Drop in SN2 replacement of fast path ITC emulation fault handlerJes Sorensen1-4/+8
Copy in SN2 RTC based ITC emulation for fast exit. The two versions have the same size, so a dropin is simpler than patching the branch instruction to hit the SN2 version. 2008-12-31KVM: ia64: Add handler for crashed vmmXiantao Zhang1-0/+2
Since vmm runs in an isolated address space and it is just a copy of host's kvm-intel module, so once vmm crashes, we just crash all guests running on it instead of crashing whole kernel. Signed-off-by: Xiantao Zhang <xiantao.zhang@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Avi Kivity <avi@redhat.com>
2008-12-31KVM: ia64: Add some debug points to provide crash infomationXiantao Zhang1-0/+1
Use printk infrastructure to print out some debug info once VM crashes. Signed-off-by: Xiantao Zhang <xiantao.zhang@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Avi Kivity <avi@redhat.com>
2008-12-31KVM: ia64: Define printk function for kvm-intel moduleXiantao Zhang1-0/+26
kvm-intel module is relocated to an isolated address space with kernel, so it can't call host kernel's printk for debug purpose. In the module, we implement the printk to output debug info of vmm. Signed-off-by: Xiantao Zhang <xiantao.zhang@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Avi Kivity <avi@redhat.com>
2008-04-27KVM: ia64: VMM module interfacesXiantao Zhang1-0/+66
vmm.c adds the interfaces with kvm/module, and initialize global data area. Signed-off-by: Xiantao Zhang <xiantao.zhang@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Avi Kivity <avi@qumranet.com>
