2012-07-23frv: remove the second parameter of kmap_atomic_primary()Cong Wang1-4/+4
All callers of kmap_atomic_primary() use __KM_CACHE, so it can be removed safely, and __kmap_atomic_primary() only check if 'type' if __KM_CACHE or not, so 'type' can be changed to a boolean as well. Ditto for kunmap_atomic_primary()/__kunmap_atomic_primary(). Acked-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert@linux-m68k.org> Signed-off-by: Cong Wang <amwang@redhat.com>
2010-10-27mm: stack based kmap_atomic()Peter Zijlstra1-4/+4
Keep the current interface but ignore the KM_type and use a stack based approach. The advantage is that we get rid of crappy code like: #define __KM_PTE \ (in_nmi() ? KM_NMI_PTE : \ in_irq() ? KM_IRQ_PTE : \ KM_PTE0) and in general can stop worrying about what context we're in and what kmap slots might be appropriate for that. The downside is that FRV kmap_atomic() gets more expensive. For now we use a CPP trick suggested by Andrew: #define kmap_atomic(page, args...) __kmap_atomic(page) to avoid having to touch all kmap_atomic() users in a single patch. 2006-01-09[PATCH] frv: implement and export various things required by modulesDavid Howells1-0/+5
Export a number of features required to build all the modules. It also implements the following simple features: (*) csum_partial_copy_from_user() for MMU as well as no-MMU. (*) __ucmpdi2(). so that they can be exported too. Signed-off-by: David Howells <dhowells@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
