2011-03-07ARM i.MX: Move gpio initialization to SoC specific filesSascha Hauer1-0/+15
This saves us from soc level dispatching in generic files Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
2010-12-03iMX51: introduce IMX_GPIO_NRArnaud Patard (Rtp)1-0/+5
Currently, to define a GPIO number, we're using something like : #define EFIKAMX_PCBID0 (2*32 + 16) to define GPIO 3 16. This is not really readable and it's error prone imho (note the 3 vs 2). So, I'm introducing a new macro to define this in a better way. Now, the code sample become : #define EFIKAMX_PCBID0 IMX_GPIO_NR(3, 16) v2: - move to gpio.h - add parens & spaces - switch to IMX_GPIO_NR instead of MX51_GPIO_NR Signed-off-by: Arnaud Patard <arnaud.patard@rtp-net.org> Cc: Amit Kucheria <amit.kucheria@linaro.org> Cc: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de> Cc: Eric Bénard <eric@eukrea.com> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
2010-08-11ARM: 6280/1: imx: Fix build failure when including <mach/gpio.h> without ↵Uwe Kleine-König1-0/+1
<linux/spinlock.h> This is a follow up to 14cb0de (arm/imx/gpio: add spinlock protection) and fixes the following build failure: CC arch/arm/mach-imx/pcm970-baseboard.o In file included from arch/arm/include/asm/gpio.h:6, from include/linux/gpio.h:8, from arch/arm/mach-imx/pcm970-baseboard.c:20: arch/arm/plat-mxc/include/mach/gpio.h:40: error: expected specifier-qualifier-list before 'spinlock_t' Cc: stable@kernel.org Signed-off-by: Uwe Kleine-König <u.kleine-koenig@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2010-07-28arm/imx/gpio: add spinlock protectionBaruch Siach1-0/+1
The GPIO registers need protection from concurrent access for operations that are not atomic. 2010-07-26i.MX51: handle IRQ for gpio 16..31Eric Bénard1-0/+1
The i.MX51 generates 2 IRQ for each GPIO bank : one for gpio 0 to 15 and one for gpio 16 to 31. Actually only the lower IRQ is registered so register the second one. Signed-off-by: Eric Bénard <eric@eukrea.com> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
2009-05-07mxc: emulate GPIO interrupt on both-edgesGuennadi Liakhovetski1-0/+1
MXC GPIO controller does not support generation of interrupts on both edges. Emulate this mode in software by reconfiguring the irq trigger polarity on each interrupt. This follows an example of drivers/mfd/asic3.c. Signed-off-by: Guennadi Liakhovetski <lg@denx.de> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
2008-12-18[ARM] MXC: remove dependency to other include files from irqs.hSascha Hauer1-2/+2
This patch removes the inclusion of mach/hardware.h from mach/irqs.h and switches to more meaningful names for the irq related macros. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de>
2008-08-07[ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King1-0/+42
This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
