2012-04-16ARM: ux500: Fix unmet direct dependencyLee Jones1-0/+1
A recent change to a Kconfig configuration saw MACH_U8500 remove TPS6105X selection. In doing so Kconfig stopped selecting REGULATORS, which is still required. This patch sees UX500_SOC_DB8500 explicitly select it instead. Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>

Pull "ARM: More device tree support updates" from Olof Johansson: "This branch contains a number of updates for device tree support on several ARM platforms, in particular: * AT91 continues the device tree conversion adding support for a number of on-chip drivers and other functionality * ux500 adds probing of some of the core SoC blocks through device tree * Initial device tree support for ST SPEAr600 platforms * kirkwood continues the conversion to device-tree probing" Manually merge arch/arm/mach-ux500/Kconfig due to MACH_U8500 rename, and drivers/usb/gadget/at91_udc.c due to header file include cleanups. Also do an "evil merge" for the MACH_U8500 config option rename that the affected RMI4 touchscreen driver in staging. It's called MACH_MOP500 now, and it was missed during previous merges. * tag 'dt2' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (48 commits) ARM: SPEAr600: Add device-tree support to SPEAr600 boards ARM: ux500: Provide local timer support for Device Tree ARM: ux500: Enable PL022 SSP Controller in Device Tree ARM: ux500: Enable PL310 Level 2 Cache Controller in Device Tree ARM: ux500: Enable PL011 AMBA UART Controller for Device Tree ARM: ux500: Enable Cortex-A9 GIC (Generic Interrupt Controller) in Device Tree ARM: ux500: db8500: list most devices in the snowball device tree ARM: ux500: split dts file for snowball into generic part ARM: ux500: combine the board init functions for DT boot ARM: ux500: Initial Device Tree support for Snowball ARM: ux500: CONFIG: Enable Device Tree support for future endeavours ARM: kirkwood: use devicetree for rtc-mv ARM: kirkwood: rtc-mv devicetree bindings ARM: kirkwood: fdt: define uart[01] as disabled, enable uart0 ARM: kirkwood: fdt: facilitate new boards during fdt migration ARM: kirkwood: fdt: absorb kirkwood_init() ARM: kirkwood: fdt: use mrvl ticker symbol ARM: orion: wdt: use resource vice direct access ARM: Kirkwood: Remove tclk from kirkwood_asoc_platform_data. 2012-02-29ARM: ux500: solve some Kconfig messLinus Walleij1-10/+13
First rename the config option MACH_U8500 to MACH_MOP500 because that is what it's obviously all about, this has confused me for the last time. Fix some whitespace in the process. Since the machine descriptors for HREFv60 and snowball are clearly in the file board-mop500.c which only compiles if MACH_MOP500 (former MACH_U8500) is set, select this for the board variants and nothing else. For the MOP500 variants the UIB (user interface board) is probed using I2C so select I2C and I2C_NOMADIK so we know that this probe will always be successful. 2012-02-29ARM: ux500: delete TPS6105X selectionLinus Walleij1-1/+0

2012-02-29ARM: ux500: select CPU_FREQ_TABLE where neededArnd Bergmann1-0/+1

2012-02-29ARM: ux500: add board autoselectionArnd Bergmann1-10/+14

2012-02-27ARM: 7346/1: errata: fix PL310 erratum #753970 workaround selectionWill Deacon1-1/+1
Commit fa0ce403 ("ARM: 7162/1: errata: tidy up Kconfig options for PL310 errata workarounds") introduced a consistent naming scheme for errata workarounds, but forgot to update the platforms selecting workarounds using the old names. This patch updates ux500 and vexpress to select the appropriate PL310 errata workarounds. Signed-off-by: Will Deacon <will.deacon@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2012-02-13ARM: ux500: export System-on-Chip information ux500 via sysfsLee Jones1-0/+1
Here we make use of the new System-On-Chip bus driver to export vital SoC information out to userspace via sysfs. This patch provides a data structure of strings to populate the base nodes found in: /sys/devices/soc[0|1|2|...]/[family|machine|revision|soc_id]. It also adds one more node as requested by ST-Ericsson. 'process' depicts the way in which the silicon was manufactured. 2011-05-25mach-ux500: voltage domain regulators for DB8500Bengt Jonsson1-0/+1
The DB8500 has ePOD:s (electronic power domains) which are possible to switch on/off to deactivate silicon blocks on the DB8500 SoC by cutting their power without retention. We model these as simple regulators with one bit on/off settings. 2011-05-25mach-ux500: move the DB8500 PRCMU driver to MFDLinus Walleij1-0/+1
We have decided that this function arbiter fits better in the MFD subsystem. Since we need to concatenate the split header files we move it basically like this: mv mach-ux500/prcmu-db8500.c drivers/mfd/db8500-prcmu.c mv mach-ux500/include/mach/prcmu-defs.h include/linux/mfd/db8500-prcmu.h mv mach-ux500/include/mach/prcmu-regs.h drivers/mfd/db8500-prcmu-regs.h mach-ux500/include/mach/prcmu.h >> include/linux/mfd/db8500-prcmu.h rm arch/arm/mach-ux500/include/mach/prcmu.h Then we update different #include statements and Makefile orders etc to make the PRCMU driver compile, link and boot in the new place without really changing any code.
